Advantages Advantages Simple to play. Lots of fun. Great for group gatherings.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Very noisy. Not suitable for 2 players and more fun with six.

Be warned, PIT is not a game to play if you’ve just put your kids to bed and are hoping they’ll sleep, if you don’t want to disturb the neighbours or if you’ve lost your voice, as it involves a lot of shouting. The cards you are offering have to be the same if there is more ... more

Pit is perhaps one of the best card games i have ever played. The simplicity is excellent for partys but I wouldnt recomend playing with people under 8 as it might just go way over there heads despit it being a generally simple game. the main aim of the game is to collect a set (9cards) of one product e.g. Barley, Rye, Wheat tc. The first player to get a complete set wins. If it doesnt sound to ineresting yet then this next part will definatly change your mind. In pit there are no turns, just trading with other players for instance 2 wheat for 2 barley exept you cant see what your trading ... more
