    I bought this mascara as i was very interested in what the adverts has said about this mascara, and wanted to try it out for myself. I was not expecting it to work as well as it did and now it is one of my favorite mascaras. The Tube is very eye catching in a bright orange colour, with the brand and product name written in black in various sizes on the front. The tube is very thick in diameter unlike other mascaras i have used.     "it's a rimmel breakthrough" Well girls it certainly is. Now before i can move on with this review I have to say im a mascara addict, and in fact I normally use perfect false lashes as i cant stand one eyelash being out of line..... bit obsessive, yes but it leads to great reviews of mascaras for everyone to read.     A while back when I was in Boots near my work place they had a promotion on for spending more than a tenner on rimmel collection and you received a free Scandal eyes mascara. Since the mascara itself was £7 or so, it made sense for me to just buy 3 nail polishes which made up the tenner and get the mascara for free anyway! It comes in a long, rather chunky tube that is brightly coloured so distinctly sticks out when looking for it in your bag!     This mascara is unbelievable! its waterproof which makes everything better! I have taken a shower with it on and nothing comes off, i always just apply more for the thickness but its great and it makes your eyes stand out, no matter what color you have. I have brown eyes and the mascara blows up my eyes. In a good way. Its not too expensive and it will last along time because when you re-apply you only put on a little more and that should help you save money.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Clumps, flakes and wears off despite being waterproof

    Clumpy and flaky. This is the look I get with this mascara. My lashes look more voluminous, yes, but clumpy. Too make matters worse, it flakes after a few hours of use despite being waterproof. It also wears off leaving only flakes behind (around my eyes). Even if the formula was good, I would still say this does not do what it says on the tin. Unless clumpy lumps of mascara count as volume. The only scandal here is that this mascara costs too much for such a poor quality. The package is ok, I would like it better if it didn't look so.... 'in your face'. However, I am not very fussed about it ... more

    I do not leave the house without mascara on any occasion (work, nights out, days out) it’s one of my must haves, therefore I have tried most mascaras on the market from £2 cheapies through to high end / department store / designer must haves.     I use Rimmel make up quite a lot as it’s normally fairly good value and it doesn’t too much of a hole in my purse. I’m currently using Rimmel Volume Lash Scadaleyes Mascara. I have thin sparse lashes and need a mascara that will do a really good job at creating lashes I don’t actually ‘have – is that even possible? Probably not, but I can live in hope. This mascara cost me £6.99 from Savers and it comes in a very bright bold orange fat little container that’s hard to miss on the shelves.     Rimmel London - Scandal Eyes Mascara One of the more well known brands that you frequently see being advertised on the tele and a good product most of the time. Rimmel specialises in make-up products ranging from Mascara to nail varnish although they do come a little pricey.     I picked this mascara up as it was new out and was on special offer for about £4.99. The brush is quite large which I tend to like, my favourite mascaras have huge wands. However, I was very disappointed by this product. The mascara itself is incredibly gloopy and gets EVERYWHERE. It clumps on my lashes and doesn't wear that well throughout the day. Instead of giving me actual volume, I feel that it just clumps my lashes together to give the illusion of thicker lashes...
