Siemens is a famous engineering conglomerate that is based in Germany. As the Europe's largest engineering company it has a wide range of products that cover communication systems, automation, lighting, power generation, IT services and business services, etc. The one I’m writing about is one of Siemens digital phones, given the full name, Siemens Gigaset AL285. I decided it was time to replace my home phone and I wanted something that came complete with an answering machine, a second handset, had a reasonably good range and didn't cost too much. So with that in mind I went for a browse around my local Comet store fully expecting to come home with another Binatone.
