    Skype is the most well known program used for video chatting. Other types of cummunications are available as well such as calls, or text chatting. Using the video feature you are able to talk with any friend, anywhere as long as they have an internet connection and skype installed, which is a free program. There are no time limits on calls and quality is decent unless you have caveman internet. The text chatting feature is what I most commonly use. It works in the same way as every other chat.     We had heard a lot about Skype but like a lot of people did nothing about it until a couple of months ago and now I so wish that we had done it when we first heard about it. If you have never heard of Skype or used it you could be a little bit suspicious as well it is Free and is there such a thing as having anything Free. Yes this is Free and Great.     I have been using skype for years now and I really couldn't be happier with it. Skype is a brilliant messager systeam that is especially useful for anyone wanting to keep in contact with family or friends abroad. I have a friend in holland who I work on various projects with and without skype it would be a lot harder and probably very costly. For me skype makes my work life a lot easier and allows me to keep in contact with everyone. MSN and facebook chat in my opinoin really can't compete with skype and though both Facebook and MSN are probably considered far more socially interactive their ... more

    I have been using Skype free services for several years now and have no complaints. However, anyone making the sad mistake of getting any of the subscriptions or even buying minutes, might need to think twice. The last three weeks I have had Skype both take money from my account several days before the due date of the subscription, with no notice, and refuse to give me the credit until the subscription date.. When I asked for my money back I was told it would take several days. Amazingly the date my money would be refunded was the sate the subscription would have started. That would have been ... more

    You do not have to look far to see that the overwhelming majority of Skype reviews are not written by genuine users at all. Users are just not that gushy over a piece of functional software, and especially over one as poor as this. The user interface is scruffy. Worldwide trials show no better than 40% acceptable call quality. The software has weaknesses that render internet cafe users vulnerable to financial losses, since the software does not log you out on closing, and skype see fit to activate "auto-topup" for you without permission, so if you have closed without logging out, the next user ... more

    Skype is a free software that can be downloaded on skype.com . Skype users can chat with other skype users for free.     I've been using this wonderful piece of software for a while now and thought hey if anything deserves a review it's a 'revolutionary' piece of kit like this!     Advantages Advantages Great option for a low cost second line, Call quality, Send file or text feature

    We trialed them in our home office as an option for a second business line as they offer a landline number. We picked an 020 number and the unlimited US calls option. The sound quality is fantastic I would say CD quality - even better than our landline. The freedom of having unlimited calls is a joy and I can see any business that does alot of international phone calls really benefiting from some of the call packages on offer.
