    My sister bought me a wonderful set of Soap & Glory products for my birthday. I was so happy to get 3 different products as I’m too broke at the minute to be able to treat myself to luxury items such as this. One of the products she bought me was the Soap & Glory Clean On Me Body Wash. Soap & Glory products are available from Boots and this one retails at £5.50 for a 500ml bottle.     Advantages Advantages lathers well and for a long time, nice fragrance, works well for shaving

    Disadvantages Disadvantages hard to get the thick gel out of the mini bottle, not too hydrating

    One of the various treats hiding in the Soap and Glory gift set my aunty and uncle brought me as a present last weekend (somewhere behind a massive frilly body polisher) was a mini version of the Clean On Me shower gel, which has been taken into every bath and shower I’ve had since. A quick check of the Boots website shows that the peach/flesh pink coloured labelling on the mini bottle doesn’t mirror the large version - that’s much heavier on the candy pink! Personally I’d call this a body wash rather than a “shower gel” (as Soap and Glory have done); this looks too upmarket and too pampering ... more

    I have used a lot of the Soap and Glory range since it launched into Boots in 2006. I really like the theme of the products. They stand out on the shelf and make you want to pick them up. The packaging and the 50's style photographs really appeal to me, and look very girly and retro in your bathroom. Some products I really like 'Sexy Motherpucker' lipgloss, some i'm not so keen on 'Glad Hair Day' conditoner, and some I like but wouldn't necessarily buy all the time.     In the run up to xmas Boots had a three for the price of two offer on all Soap and Glory products with the cheapest product being the free one which might help explain why I got quite a few Soap and Glory items for Christmas, many of them I had already owned but a new one for me is this particular body wash which I have now been using for a couple of weeks and I'm quite impressed with it.     I'm a major soap and glory addict so I have a lot of experience using a vast variety of their products, 'Clean on me' being one of them. To the UK buyers this product is easily accessed in most Boots stores at the price of £5.50 for 500ml, or a half the price for a smaller bottle, however it is common for the soap and glory range to be on a 3 for 2 offer so it can work out even cheaper. Before I get into the details of how well the product works and the application I'd just like to mention that £5.50 may seem like a lot of money just for some shower gel, but believe me a little bit of this ... more

    This is another product I received in the Soap & Glory gift set I treated myself to last Christmas. The best thing about it is that because it smells quite girly, my other half doesn't pinch it so it should last longer! The shower gel costs £5.11 for 500ml, although the Soap and Glory products are often on a 3 for 2 offer, and gift packs can also work out better value for money. This product also provides moisturisation, so in my eyes it doubles up which makes it worth the money.     I first tried this product last year after I received it in the Christmas Soap and Glory set. I had never tried any of the products so this was a first impressions into the brand and I was not disappointed. This is available from all Boots stores both online and instore, I believe some of the range is also sold in ASOS and items frequently crop up on Ebay but of course this is not to be relied upon.     For Christmas 2011 I got a large soap and glory beauty hamper from my mother which was £60 from Boots. Inside there is a variety of soap and glory items from lip gloss, hand cream, mitts, hair products and cleaning products. This included a 500ml bottle of the famous Clean on me. Soap and glory is a good quality brand that you can barely find in high street shops or that I've seen at the moment I mainly see these operating online.     I love this product, and it is definitely one of my favourite body washes out there. I've had a bottle of it now for over 6 months and I'm only half way through it (it gets used every day by both me and my housemate). It smells lovely, really refreshing and not cheap or tacky. It is a really rich and creamy body wash and it lathers up like nothing else! You barely need to use any and it is really luxurious - which is probably why it lasts so long!     Clean On Me!! I have reviewed many of the S&G range as I just love it, and this will be my last review...until I try some more that's is. The Packaging & Price As with a lot of the S&G products they go steer away from the 'less is more' approach and package their products in huge bottles and jars, and the Clean On Me shower gel is not exception. With a whopping 500ml bottle you can see why! The bottle is clear plastic with a nice large label on which is pink and cream with the details on.
