    I recently had to make a claim on my Squaretrade warranty for my Macbook Pro which unfortunately had a glass of cola spilled on it. I first called Squaretrade on 10th March, and the claim was finally resolved on 3rd April. Much longer than I'd expected but I'm still very happy with the service. All the customer service advisors I spoke to were very helpful and polite. The initial phone call took about 30 mins, and I was asked various questions about the damage to the laptop before they could take it on as a claim.     I contacted Square Trade when my computer had a power supply problem. They arranged for my computer to be collected for repair at a remote location. However, due to the confidential information on my computer, I was unhappy that it would not know who or where it would be repaired. As a result, I contacted Square Trade and requested that the repair was cancelled saying that I would prefer to use a local repairer who I know and trust.     I had insured my PlayStation Vita with SquareTrade soon after I bought it in February 2012. Setting up the warranty was a breeze. Unfortunately, around 8 months later I dropped a jug full of water on one side of the unit, which was enough to fry the main board. The claim process was initially complicated by the repair depot mistakenly thinking they had my item when they hadn't. The depot then sent me a shipping label for second class recorded which delayed the repair process further.     Overall very impressed with the service received. Very polite,helpful and knowledgeable staff on the telephone This is the first time that I have used the services from this company, when buying any electrical items it has now become second nature to insure the product for ADH now. Minor issues that i have with the web site in my opinion While paying for service, paid through google therefore product not using my email address - which was easily rectified through a phone call.     I'm new to writing reviews so bear with me i might babble on a bit and sound daft but i am being as honest as i possibly can. The squaretrade warranty that i purchased at the same time as i bought my archos arnova tablet 10 g2 was very reasonably priced. When i unfortunately had to use the warranty as my tablet had stopped working / wouldn't even turn on! the staff were very friendly, efficient and the matter was dealt with quickly.     This is my first experience of a Squaretrade Warranty which I had previously never heard of and was initially a bit dubious. As it only cost around £10.00 with an E-bay purchased item (UK) I considered it reasonable value if it worked. I am pleased to report that when I made a warranty claim on the policy it worked exactly like it 'said on the tin'. Hassle free and seamlessly. Don't be put of because of the unknown name. it is an American company new to the UK apparently staffed by Americans.I believe all claims are routed from the UK to the USA at a local UK rate so no great expense.     I purchased warranty for my new (and expensive) DSLR camera from SquareTrade via amazon. within a couple of days I received confirmation emails, as well as a call from a very nice customer adviser who was happy to answer all of my questions. They recommend to send them the receipt as early as possible, so that in case a claim needs to be made, it can be processed faster - which I appreciate. So far I have not had the need yet to make any claim, so I can not comment on that aspect at this time, but until now the service I have had from them was excellent.     I purchased Square Trade warranty for my new LCD TV from Amazon marketplace. Soon after purchase, I received a confirmation email. The next day I had a call from customer services to check whether I had received the email & confirm start date. I was also advised to forward my TV purchase receipt by email for their records for paper free claims if needed.     I bought my daughter a refurbished Ipod touch for Christmas and took this warranty with it. Oh well thank goodness I did cause it failed a month later. I called Square Trade and it was so easy. A very friendly consultant guided me through the claim process, they sent me a self addressed envelope to send the Ipod off for repair. Unfortunately it was not worth repairing so I got my money back to by another Ipod for my daughter. Fantastic! I would have lost all that money had I not taken out this policy.     I was a little unsure of buying a warranty, but i am so happy now that i did! my tablet started to make a fizzling sound and i called squaretrade, they gave me a step by step guide on how to send the tablet to them ( freepost ) and within 10 days my claim was paid, very helpful staff and the customer services were amazing, they kept me informed, via email, on exactely what was happening with my claim When i explained about the fizzling sound, the guy on the phone didnt treat me like a female know nothing, which is what i was kinda expecting with my explanations of *well, it sounds like a ... more
