    Excellent , polite staff who take your calls, unfortunately thats the only positive feed back i can give . Tried to bill me in excess of £1900 , blocked my phone , after many calls 4 days later still waiting for them to un block my phone. If only the back up was as good as the people who take your calls this company would be excellent instead of very poor . can,t wait til i,m out of contract . Tariffs are ok , reception good . I,m not normally one to write reviews but after many calls i am beginning to lose the will to live, hence i felt compelled to write a review to help others avoid making ... more

    After getting my phone bill in January 2013, I noticed that I was being charged £64 instead of £7.50, I called Talk Mobile to see why & they informed me that a call was made in December 2012 to a PPI Company at £2 per minute, (56.50 for 1 call!!) I refuted making any such call & looked on my log list & could not find the number that they quoted on any day the previous month. I have never called any PPI Company!! The guy insisted that it was made from my sim card & informed me that they had already taken the money from my bank!. I felt intimidated & had no choice but to go along with it. I have ... more

    Advantages Advantages nothing apart from paying hugh amount for 1 minute call and 23 texts in three month.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Ripping customer, unfair charges, no data uses and still getting bill. saty away from this company

    Stay Away from Talkmobile. I have bought talkmobile 7.50 contract. it cost 9.20 first month which was including extra days, second month 64.48, since this bill , I argued with them and mobile phone is not working since then, as they blocked it, took the moneny from my account and i was expecting mobile should be working, tryed today and found out there is still 15 pound bill remaining? where this bill come from now? no idea, second month they said we have used Data, even we was using WiFi at home, however paid 64.48 and now they are stil ripping me off without even service.     Having spotted Talkmobile's cheap tariffs and found out they use the Vodafone network I thought to myself - 'This seems like a good idea'... AND IT WAS...!!! IF I HAD WANTED TO DEVOLVE AND NOT ACTUALLY HAVE ANY SERVICE ON MY MOBILE....!!!!!!! Five minutes after putting the Talkmobile SIM into my smartfone I discovered I had no data connection or a weak data connection. Hmm, maybe its because I'm inside - so I went outside - No thats not it - no data outside. Then I tried to make a phonecall and it worked - until I went into a shop and then it started to cut out.     My wife has a SIM only deal with talk mobile, She has put a credit limit of £10 over and above the £8 per month charge. We have just received a bill of £808, that is right £808!. This extra charge has occurred overnight on the 25th Sept night. It appears that data was downloaded on the phone via the network, on that night, while we were at home. The phone is connected to the wi-fi at home, so this is not possible. Besides, what was the point of having a credit limit if it was not going to stop usage of the phone when the limit was exceeded?     Advantages Advantages Cheap way of using Vodafone network

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Billing should be considered fiction.

    I had a 12 month £30 a month deal which had had no problems at all with. After 11 month I gave my months notice to change to a SIM only 1 month deal of £8.00 a month. 14 days after this new deal was meant to start they take £30, I end up paying £60 within one month. The customer service team are polite but I did end up explaining everything twice to different people. They agreed that it was incorrect and said I would get a credit on my account but there were unable to refund the money any other way. I only wanted a 1 month deal now I am tied in until I have spent the credit in my account ... more

    Signed contract, same day people I called said I was pressing numbers as I talked,went back to carphone warehouse twice they said "nowt wrong wi it mate" so I paid for a phone I could not use for two years.I will not use them again !Tried to cancel contract early on carphone warehouse said its legal and binding you cant get out of it.Called Talk mobile they said call carphone warehouse, so i went back and forth and got no where fast.     I purchased my 1st touch phone on contract from carphone warehouse seamed great price £12 per month from the start I had problems with my wildfire s ,it stopped loading up any info on apps, so took it into carphone they had to send of for repair, comes back nearly 2 weeks later and seamed to work ok , a few weeks go by, and Im contacted by a friend on my land line asking me why my mobile is truned off , well i looked and it says no signal after my conversation i kept on looking at my mobile to see if i have signal and more times than not I dont have a signal or no bars or most 1 bar ... phone ... more

    Talk Mobile won't let you change your phone number from a number off another network without paying a disconnection fee mine came to £360! All other networks let you do this absolutely free, but talkmobile charge you because THEY do not have the facilities! I was basically told on the phone they won't do anything unless I pay to be let out of my contract or I'm stuck with my number. They was unhelpful and told me it would take 5 days for the complaints escalation team to get back to me when I said can you do it any quicker it suddenly changed to 48 hours! What is that about?     This company, TalkMobile is disgraceful. I’ve had problems throughout the year and I am here to talk about my experience with Talk Mobile. I am from the U.S. that lived in Birmingham, U.K. for one year, from March 2011 to March 2012. I bought a 20 quid a month, one year plan from Car Phone Warehouse in the Bull Ring because it was perfect for the time period I was there and they even threw in a free android to seal the deal.
