Advantages Advantages Reasonable price, look good, hold over half a standard bottle of wine.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

As we have a home of our own now we love taking the opportunity to have dinner parties. We often have drinks, poker nights and gatherings around our house but a dinner party gives us an excuse to have a big cook up, get some wine flowing and have a good catch up with some of the couples in our circle of friends. I love an opportunity to dress up our table and listen to some good music too so dinner parties are probably one of my favourite social gatherings that we have in our home. As we love our wine, as do our friends, we have a couple of varieties of wine glass now - just like real adults ... more

Advantages Advantages cheap, sturdy and do the job

Disadvantages Disadvantages arent the fanciest wine glass

Over Christmas we decided to have all our friends over for some dinner and a party, however although we had enough wine, we needed a few extra wineglasses to go around so we decided to buy these wine glasses simply because they were cheap and we needed quite a few. We ended up buying 8 for £20, which was fantastic value and just what we needed in our circumstances. These wineglasses are very simple, they do not have any swanky patterns on them like our other wineglasses, but they do the job and look the part. Advantages Advantages look nice and cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none at all

We enjoy both red and white but we do seem to have a few problems with some of the flimsier wine glasses which seem to be popular at the moment as the stems are not very thick and they tend to break or get smashed or damaged when they get washed. We bought a cardboard box from Tesco with four of their own range (Tesco Finest) for just £4, which works out at just one pound each, which we thought was a good bargain. They are a standard height, of ... more

5 Stars Glasses that don't hate me Review with images 12/07/2011

    Advantages Advantages Tough and hardwearing

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None Yet!

~Wine Glasses Hate Me!~ I love my wine, it has to be said, I drink white wine as I find red to be too heavy and it usually gives me a headache. When it comes to wine glasses I have got to be the clumsiest person I know. Or maybe the wine glasses just hate me and decide to kill themselves. I have broken so many wine glasses I have lost count how many. Glasses for white wine are so thin and delicate or in my case to be more precise they just aren't big enough. Glasses for red wine are a decent size in my opinion, so I have taken to buying and using them instead, they are a lot stronger in my ... more
