Advantages Advantages Great for parties, lots of bubbles can be blown in one go

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Blower is short!

Birthday bubbles It was my daughter's birthday towards the end of last year, and I decided to buy some of these small bottles of bubbles for party bags. As we had a few no-shows, I ended up with quite a few spare bubbles, so we have got to use them a lot over the past few months. You can buy a pack of six of these small bottles for just £1.50 in Tesco. Each of the bottles is a different, bright colour, and the price and look makes them ideal for children's parties - either for party bags or to put on tables (although this could get quite messy!). The plastic bubble blower is attached to the ... more

Advantages Advantages produces loads of bubbles

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Loads of bubbles for not a lot of money I buy Tesco party bubbles quite regularly when I do the grocery shop. They are an inexpensive treat for my son and a bonus is that they also make a great toy for my dog. These bubbles only cost £1.96 for a pack of six. They have been changed to what is shown on dooyoo and are now called out there bubbles but I have been assured by staff that they are the same bubbles just repackaged. It is a shame that they repackaged them as I liked the previous little coloured pots and the new ones are a little duller and come in red pots with coloured lids. The ... more

Advantages Advantages Bright bottles, good mixture, produces good bubbles

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

In our family whenever there is a birthday all of the extended family come around with presents so we end up with parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins which means rather alot of people. I bought these bubbles last year for the children to play with whilst they were in our house and to try and prevent them emptying every toy out of every drawer which they usually do. I bought the bubbles from Tesco where they are sold in a pack of four little pots, the pack of four cost me about £1.25 which I thought was great value and if it kept them busy for a while even better. The pots were ... more

Advantages Advantages Good price, six bottles in a pack, instant fun, quality bubbles

Disadvantages Disadvantages None in my opinion

We often look after our two nieces while their parents nip out to a doctors appointment and the like and the whole experience of being left can be a little traumatic at times for the little one if for only an hour. A good distraction that we have found is to buy a pack of bubbles from Tesco. Not only do they allow the girls to have a bit of fun out in the garden but they are also an inexpensive and less messy activity than finger painting indoors. Being that our nieces are now at the ages of three and one the youngest is obviously too young to hold a wand and blow through the holes but the ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for us

While looking for a birthday card for my niece I cam across a pack of 4 mini pots of bubbles which were aimed for party bags I believe but it was the size that attracted me. My small children love bubbles and love to try and be independent so when I cam across this 4 pack for a price of £1.50 I snapped them up. They are mini pots of bubbles so have just 50ml bottles rather than the usual 150 ml bottles. They are suitable for 3 years plus and my eldest is only 3 years and my little girl is 2 but can both use them easily enough with supervision. These little pots mean less spillage and are ... more

Advantages Advantages nice for a party bag

Disadvantages Disadvantages too small for us

Tesco Bubbles With Wand Every child loves bubbles and they can literally be the source of many hours of entertainment for them and to be perfectly honest there is something so tranquil and rather therapeutic about the blowing of bubbles and watching them as they sail off on the air that I really quite like to have a bottle to play with myself! I had had an old bubble bottle and wand for a good while and can't think where we got it but I kept filling it up with water and washing up liquid but I must say that my ratio when mixing it just was never right and the bubbles would just pop before they ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, handy sized pot

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None!

Every child loves bubbles and some adults too! I bought these bubbles to go into the party bags for my daughter's first birthday party. We had to cancel the party so we've been using them ourselves. What is it? There are 6 plastic pots of bubbles in the pack, it cost me £1.50 back in October 2010. The packaging is quite plain with just a blue label with a couple of words on it, but the actual bottles themselves are different, very bright colours, almost neon-like. The bottle is just over an inch high, so about half the size of a normal sized bottle, it still has the same diameter so is still ... more

    Advantages Advantages cute, colourful, fun

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not the best

I saw these in Tesco and I think they are geared towards children's parties for yo u t put in their party bags but I bought them to have at home ready for when the grand children came to play. They come in a pack of 6 for just over £1 so if you are putting them in party bags they are really good value for money. You get a variety of brightly coloured pots too which again is good for a party as it makes them look exciting and there should be an appropriate colour for everyone! They are only mini pots so they are not big at all but I don't think this matters, the magic of bubbles is actually ... more

    Advantages Advantages Great bubbles!

Disadvantages Disadvantages One niece found it uncomfortable in her hands.

Me and my OH regularly look after my 2 nieces, aged 5 and 10, and whenever they come around we usually buy some cheap little things like a colouring book, clay, books for them to play with or we find something fun to do so they don't end up getting bored ( or start to annoy us.. ) Me and the OH went to have a look around Tesco as we was out shopping with my dad and then my OH spotted these, I thought since the weathers been quite nice recently there would be no harm in picking these up since we were having the kids the next day and going out into the garden with them! -------------- THE PRICE ... more

Our recent wedding saw the need for me to find a source of distraction and entertainment for the children so they wouldn’t get too bored during the periods of waiting around for something to happen. I discounted a lot of items due to mess, but after a while I decided to get some pots of bubbles. They don’t make too much mess on clothes and children all seem to love them. I happened upon the small bubble pots from Tesco as they were cheap enough at £1.50 for six pots, and I also managed to buy them on offer of three for two. The pots themselves are quite tiny, approx 1.5 – 2 inches in height. I ... more
