Advantages Advantages We don't have to go out in the winter weather.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Rude and unhelpful driver.

We have just stopped having groceries delivered from Tesco. Their advertising says deliveries will be to your fridge door: don't believe it. The small print says it's up to the driver, and we've twice had one in recent weeks who has refused to take our order up just one flight of stairs. What's more, he was very surly and rude about it. Tesco Customer Services say that it's up to the driver whether he takes anything beyond your front door, so be warned. They also say that they will take the driver's poor attitude up with the branch: I'll post an amendment to this review if anything comes of ... more

Advantages Advantages I think that Tesco's online delivery is fast but it probably depends on your location.

Disadvantages Disadvantages You must know what you want before buying online because it will be a total waste of resources.

I was always skeptical about buying groceries and other food products online especially knowing that i was surrounded by so many supermarkets and i could get to choose exactly what i want. The Co-operative and Lidl are just within 0.40miles away from home, Tesco is about a 0.80miles away and Morrisons is just in the city centre roughly 1.2miles from home. Basically Tesco wasn't my favorite grocery shop until two days ago though i shop there sometimes. My younger sister is familiar with Tesco online store and she had used it a couple of times. until two days ago i wouldn't have realized how ... more

Tesco click and collect Haydock store 23/12/2012 What a joke, no potatoes, no milk, no veg, no matchmakers. Pick-up point did not open on time, twenty minutes late before any goods went into any cars and then it was just dropped at the back of the car for you to load yourself. However the manager 'Will' did explain the shortages. "People keep buying things in the store! In-store customers have priority so there is no point in ordering goods early, as I did, because you just get what is left in the store at the time they do the picking. The moral of the story is, don't use Tesco click and ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Unreliable, disorganised, useless - Combination of failure to delivery and lack of communication

Would definitely recommend that you avoid using Tesco.com's home delivery service if at all possible. Last night we were due to receive a delivery early in the evening (6pm). An hour and a half later, this still hadn't arrived and we had had no communication from Tesco so we contacted their customer services. Not only do they charge this as an 0845 number so that they can make money off users contacting them, they were unable to help us in any way shape of form. On that first call they informed us that they didn't know where the delivery was and couldn't contact the driver or store it was ... more

Advantages Advantages reasonably priced bathroom suite

Disadvantages Disadvantages standard of delivery, condition of item on arrival.

I purchased a tesco bathroom suite in January. After providing all my contact information and completing the purchase I was sent an email with delivery information. I was informed that a member of staff would call me to arrange delivery. This did not happen. I had to call Tesco to query the delivery date and time as I had not been contacted, this call took place in March, two months after I placed my order. Fortunately I was not in a hurry to install the new bathroom. I arranged delivery for the week of the 23rd March, I was told the bathroom would arrive within 7 days prior to the 23rd. I was ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use - great home delivery service.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sometimes it is nice to look at items in person.

--Tesco.com-- --Online Grocery Shopping-- I was delighted when our local rural Tesco began doing home deliveries many years ago. Being ill and weak it was a godsend for our family - and the cost of the delivery is definitely more than worth it. --Website-- www.tesco.com. The website is easy to navigate. The first time you do an on line order it might take you longer - but once an order is 'saved' on the website you can refer back to it again - as most of us tend to buy lots of the same things each week. --Easy of Use-- Very easy to search and add items to your virtual shopping basket - you ... more

Advantages Advantages Quick, easy, time saver

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not always great quality food is picked by the 'pickers'.

Using The Site I first started using the Tesco online shopping/delivery service a few months ago after hearing good reviews about it. Upon going to the website its main page is easy to figure out, with plenty of options of services to choose from but it's still quick and easy to read. The website doesn't allow you to browse without logging in, but it's extremely clear where you click to sign up. This process took me no more than 2 minutes as it's so quick and simple. It's free of charge to become a member and it's secure. Once you're signed up and signed in, the website will take you to the ... more

TESCO.COM Tesco.com has a wide array of services which are extremely useful. The site is set out in a clear easy to use way, less fuss the better! Disadvantages Disadvantages Easy to forget things

Recently, we have started having more and more of our grocery shopping delivered, this is so easy to do, just log onto www.tesco.com, open up an account and start shopping! At the top of the grocery section, you can choose which area you want to search, e.g Fridge, Frozen, Bakery etc... when you open any of these subsections, there are smaller menu's e.g for biscuits or baked beans. All the offer prices are marked, and it will advise you when you add a product, if its on buy one get one free or on any other promotion. Advantages Advantages Hassle free, friendly/helpful drivers, reliable service

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some products difficult to find on website,

WHY DO I USE IT? I live in Glasgow city centre and most of the grocery shops near me are smaller convenience stores which have less range and are more expensive. I don't drive so doing a 'big shop' usually involves a taxi ride back and waiting outside a supermarket with umpteen bags waiting for a taxi to arrive in all weather isn't great. I used the home delivery service for the first time after moving into a new flat and needing to totally restock all of my cupboards. After I realised I could get in my shopping without having to get to the supermarket, spend time choosing products, queue at ... more
