    The website www.theperfumeemporium.co.uk is a complete scandal. Chis debited my account on the 3rd of August 2010 for a product which I never received. He eventually returned my email saying he would refund the product. Later, when he ran out of excuses he then blocked my emails and later removed the website from the domain host. In his many lists of excuses he included one about contacting the Royal Mail for a refund and passed the blame to them for failing to deliver the product.     Disadvantages Disadvantages No product and a long wait to (hopefully) get your money back...

    Ordered in June, after no product arrived contacted the company..."Chris" sent a very polite e-mail asking us to wait 15 working days as Royal Mail must've lost it in the post.... Requested a replacement once 15 days was up & was told this would be sent in the next few days.... This failed to materialise so e-mailed him again only to be told that this time he was not prepared to wait for Royal Mail to investigate and he could offer another replacement or a refund.     If you want to waste your money then by all means purchase from this company who'll take your money and then two months down the line you'll be stuck with no product and no refund either! They give some excuse about it taking 30 days to refund money under the distance selling regulations! This was nearly 1 month ago and they havent refunded or provided any status updates as to the progress! Save yourself the hassle and buy from a different vendor at a slightly higher price, this company just isnt worth the time or the hassle as getting any product or refund out of them at present seems like ... more

    What can I say. I wish I had looked at this site before I had placed an order. The Perfume Emporium appears to be a scam. I DO NOT recommend anyone attempting to order anything from these people. The ploy is always the same. The merchandise has been sent but never arrives. You query this and supposedly the merchandise is sent out a second time. Nice little game with many losers! The company should be monitored and I am certain that many unweary people have lost their money.     Cant imagine a worse online store, dreadful customer relations, no product ever sent, no refund received, THIS SITE IS A DREADFUL, DO NOT ORDER FROM IT!     Disadvantages Disadvantages They take your money and then it seems like a battle to get a refund when goods don't reach you

    I ordered some aftershave on 24 November 09 from this website and have had the same problems. I contacted them after a few days when the goods didn’t arrive, as I buy lots of stuff from Amazon and it always arrives promptly. I got the same messages – it’s been sent but must have got lost but please wait the eight days as referred to on the website. Numerous emails back and forth and I finally cancelled the order (plus my credit card) but was then told by Chris that it would take 30 days to get the credit on my card because of the Distance Selling Regulations.     What a scam - Avoid, avoid, avoid. Use at your peril. This fella looks to be very proffesional on the face of it - nice website etc... ITS ALL A CON. Please, I urge you, go elsewhere. He takes the money, doesnt send it and then blames Royal Mail. He then makes you wait 15 days, and ignores you until he can be bothered to respond. United Hosting have confirmed he deals in around 10 orders per day, but blamed the "hundreds of emails" on his delay, oh it was also my fault for sending more than one because appparently i blocked it up.     I bought some aftershave from the perfume emporium in june as i could not find it anywhere else on the internet so i was very pleased i found it as it was a gift for my dad. After 3 weeks of the aftershave no arriving i emailed chris and got told it must have gotten lost in the post. He offered me a replacement or a refund so i said a replacement, i also asked if it could be delivered by royal mail next day delivery as i needed it for a birthday but got told this was not possible, i now understand why!     I registered with Theperfumeemporium.co.uk on 19th August, placed an order and paid for it. The order didn't arrive. I let Chris know. She said it would take 15 days for royal mail to check whether it had been distributed. I then sent another email. Chris said the perfume would be re-sent. The perfume did not arrive. I then asked for a refund or I would contact trading standards.
