    Whatever one’s musical tastes are, who can resist a good love song? I have a double whammy here, as firstly I can’t resist love songs and secondly I can’t resist lists. It’s even better when the two things can be combined, and the cherry on the cake is the possibility of earning a few pennies from it. I’ve been naughty in that I haven’t stuck to ten songs, as for me that would be utterly impossible. I have managed to narrow it down to twenty-five though, and the following are my favourite love songs – in no order of preference – that have meant something to me at various points of my life ... more

    Here are my top ten favourite love songs. As always I could my music list going on forever, there is so much to choose from! I listen to these kinds of songs no matter what my mood, whether I'm happy or sang although I guess they get played more often during the darker days or when Im feeling lonely. I wanted to put a couple of James Blunts songs in but I I dont think they are good enough to fit into the top ten but they did come close. 1. All by myself - Celine Dion 2.     hi i am going to let you seee my top 10 love songs of all time - i no loads of love songs cuz i am a very soppy and romantic person :) i will show you a few lines of lyriks from each ... Aerosmith - I dont wana miss a thing ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ This song was brought out in the Armageddon Soundtrack in 1998. this was the main soundtrack to the film.     I'm not necessarily one for "love songs" - but every so often when I happen to get into one of those moods, I turn to my mix of favourite love songs. They're not the most typical ones, in fact, some would debate that they're even "love songs", but they do the trick for me. Let's see if I can actually rate them into a top 10... ~~~~~~ 1. Wild Horses: The Sundays Wild horses couldn't drag me away Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away Such a well-known song, but out of all the versions out there, the Sundays' is my favourite.     Disadvantages Disadvantages probably not all for mums or little kids... no Mariah, Ronan, Westlife etc

    All year round, but particularly when Valentine's day nears, we are "treated" to a deluge of predictable love song compilation albums that always contain the same songs or a load of really soppy stuff, so here I will try to make an alternative playlist of love songs that rock and roll. Some of these can really only loosely be termed "love songs" (it seems that for most songs that are included on "love song" compilations, you don't need a lot of romantic poetics: only a few mentions of the L word are enough for them to qualify) but what the hell... anything that rocks and is love-y enough will ... more

    These are in no particular order, but here are some of my favourite Love songs……. 1 / HEAVEN - DJ SAMMY This song gets to me everytime , her voice is not the greatest but she sings it with SO much emotion and just listen to the words 'Baby your all that I want, when you're lying here in my arms Finding it hard to believe we're in heaven' I would love to be able to sing this to my other half ( well properly anyway, I've tried it a couple of times drunk…SHAME! ) Bryan Adam's version is really good , but I do prefer this cover- it's the Yanou candlelight mix! 2/ ETERNAL FLAME - THE BANGLES Again ... more

    This is my first post/review in Ciao cafe so be nice to me! lol I had my heart broken by someone quite recently and I'm still in the process of getting over him so the songs that are in my top 10 are ones I can relate to so in no particular order: 1. Take a Bow - Madonna The words really relate to the situation I was in and I always get a lump in my threat when I hear the lines: Make them laugh, it comes so easy When you get to the part Where you're breaking my heart [breaking my heart] Hide behind your smile, all the world loves a clown [Just make 'em smile the whole world loves a clown] Wish ... more

    Ah, love songs. What can tug at your heartstrings more prominently than a powerful and well-written love song? Nothing. Except perhaps a heart attack. But let's not digress. On with the list! In reverse order (so as to build the suspense and impending doom): 10. Aqualung - Strange And Beautiful Such a haunting and, if I'm honest, a little disturbing song. The line 'You'll fall asleep when I put a spell on you, and when I wake you I'll be the first thing you see, you'll realise that you love me' gives it a sort of dark undertone.
