Toshiba Satellite C660-118

i fell in love with toshiba several years ago. I have been using the C660-118, which i got as a replacement for my A200. I make bold to msay it is da "BOMB" as we say in my place, what else can i say. the c660-118 is light and protable the postion of the antenna makes wirless connection very easy even at very wide range. the display screen gives a resolution that will make HD bright with envy, i think the best thing i like about the c660 is the audio...it gives a flawness sound quality loud and clear that makes listining to music fun all the time. the keyboard is easy and sensitive to touch ... more

I found that this laptop was particularly in my price range for the use I required of it. I am not a gamer but I wanted the laptop for moving to university, so for doing work, taking to the library and watching films on. The look of the laptop in my opinion is fine, the screen is quite obviously wide but I like this for watching films on as well as having several screens open at once, such as a book and a Microsoft word document. in my opinion its a great laptop that takes the place of a normal desktop. to me, it doesnt have a very long battery life. its very tough, ive dropped it over and over again, and theres no damage, except for maybe a scratch or two. i think that it is very clear and bright, easy to see and great for media. the speakers on it in my opinion are moderate, but are loud enough in most cases. When you shake it or if it gets bumped it will skip/lag and is a bit of a nuisance. From my point of view its an exceptional laptop for teens and college, but not for business people. This computer is brilliant. I have had it for about a year. It comes with Windows 7. The computer is light and can be carried easily in a breifcase. The battery lasts for ages and the graphics are excellent. Downloads don't take long and watching films is easy. The operating system, Windows 7 is very easy to use. The computer is made by Toshiba. I recently purchased is laptop on a whim really - i was contemplating buying the ipad (which i probably still will) but i defenately needed a laptop that i could use for essay writing ect. This laptop (available in may shops, argos, currys etc) was somewhere between the £300 and £400 range, which for a laptop these days is brilliant. The overall look of the laptop is very appealing, it has a sleek black design with 'Toshiba' printed on the top.
