    Items I bought were branded differently to items I had nominally purchased on the website. When I checked I found I could have got them 25% cheaper elsewhere if only they had been accurate in the description of what they were selling me. When I raised this issue I was told that they are not allowed to use others brand names and have to change the names of all products - so how come everyone else can sell branded items then? I contacted customer services several times to explain and see if they would honor their price match guarantee, but no they won't due to a loop hole regarding matching the ... more

    Do not buy from this company, their customer service is terrible and the quality is poor. Our toilet seat hinge broke a few weeks outside the one year warranty. it was made out of cheap plastic and not made to last. They refused to replace it, told us to buy and new one and if we didn't like it then complain to trading standards! Not a very professional company. Quality of bathroom overall is poor and it is not worth what we paid for it. They have a very nice website that telling you what great quality their products are and how they will last for years to come, but they do not want to know ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Worse customer service ever, broken parts, parts that never arrived and no help.

    I ordered a whole bathroom suite. The bath arrived with a dent in the side, the side panels were chipped and finally there was a very simple piece missing from the shower. This piece can be bought anywhere. I have called every week now for 8 weeks awaiting a piece of plastic that stops the water coming out of the show, ie I can't use the shower. They have told me it would take up to 6 weeks, so we have passed this date and they are still out of stock. The customer service team have now idea what's going on and really don't care that you are inconvenienced. They just say the same spiel over and ... more

    When I read the reviews here I was nearly put off ordering from Victoria Plumb, but the monotonous sameness of the negative experiences here seemed less plausible than the broader variety of experiences reported elsewhere (e.g. TrustPilot). I placed two large orders and had no problem with either delivery and am very happy with the quality of the bathroom suites. I had to cancel one part of my order and clarify some points over the phone and the people I spoke to were helpful and knowledgeable.     "Victoria Plumb, which sells bathroom fittings, is a truly awful company and should be avoided at ALL costs! I placed an order with them on the 4th February having been told that delivery would be within 24 hours! It is now the 3rd March and I have received nothing.... no goods, no notification, no responses to my constant e-mails and my messages via their website!     We ordered a chrome towel rail radiator from this company and also radiotor valves. When it was delivered I could hear things clanking around inside the box and upon opening the box found that the warehouse had placed the valves in with the radiator loose, these had then casued little nicks is the chrome work.I then contacted Victoria Plumb and informed then of the problem and they said they would exchange the item but were intermating that it was not there fault that the valves had come loose!.     We were really pleased with the whole experience shopping with Victoria Plumb. Ordered the goods and picked our delivery date to suit us. Normally you get a call on the day to say how what time it is going to be delivered. Unfortunately we didnt get this call. We did get the second call to say they were 10 minutes away. However, when the goods arrived the delivery was really good. They carried up all the boxes and patiently waited while we checked the goods. One of the 2 sinks was damaged.     Avoid this company is our advice. We recently bought a vanity unit described as 'Oak ...with basin' for a refit of our bathroom. The basin they supplied cannot be plumbed in without sawing bits out of the top drawer. Apparently this information is in the Terms and Conditions and not in the product description. A fact they admitted when the complaint was made. The item was delivered on a Friday evening and, as they don't offer a weekend support service, we had to buy another (lower profile) sink to fit the unit as the plumber and builders were booked for that weekend.
