    Disadvantages Disadvantages The excess cord on this product risks hanging a child or a pet.

    I ordered some venetian blinds with a 'drop' length of 2' 9". Realised when the order arrived that when blinds are in the 'up' position, the length of the pulley cords is a total of 6' 3"! 2" 9' for the recess they will fit into, PLUS an additional 3' 6" dangling WAY past the bottom of the recess. PERFECT IF ONE WANTS TO RISK HANGING A CHILD OR A PET!!!** In my opinion this company are selling a downright dangerous product. Their response to my query about the ridiculous length of the pulley cords was that "this is normal". No it isn't - I've already got a venetian blind elsewhere from another ... more

    We have recently placed a third order with Web Blinds. The first two were fine BECAUSE we had no issues with them. The third order was supplied in the 'wrong' width fitting. We were apparently told on the phone that we had ordered 'the standard 89mm' when our order was read back to us. As we have previously received the correct size for us (127mm) we missed that information apparently given. WEB BLINDS are totally inflexible about returns (they do admittedly say this in Terms & Conditions) as their products are made to order. So we have wasted over £50.     Disadvantages Disadvantages You will need to measure up and fit the blinds yourself but I just got my husband to do this!

    I tried Web-Blinds for the first time recently and will definitely look to use them again. Their site was easy to use so I was able to quickly choose fabrics that I thought would match my room. There were a lot to look through on the site so this took me a little while, but that's a good thing! When I'd narrowed down my list of possibles, I was then able to order samples so I could see what they actually looked like and whether or not they would really match.     I am very proud of my new blind that I fitted all by my self this Easter! I followed Web-Blinds 'How to' videos, to make sure I measured properly, and was delighted when the roller blind arrived, and fitted! It took me a while to make sure I hung it correctly, but the download made it much easier. I was delighted that it came with all the screws etc. I chose a blackout roller blind, and it makes SUCH a difference in these brighter mornings.     Advantages Advantages Roman Blinds - Excellent for blocking out the Sun on the TV

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None as of yet, but I did have to fit them on a Saturday :(

    I brought 3 Roman Blinds from Web-Blinds for our bedroom, the kids room and the living room. They look amazing and easy to fit (and if im being honest, i'm not the best when it comes to DIY). The wife is over the moon with the blinds, the kids dont have the light coming into their room in a morning, and I can now watch the football on the TV without the glare of the sun coming through the window! (mind you the wife isnt happy about the Football on the TV ha ha).     My new blinds from web blinds look great and are very stylish, I've had many compliments about them already from friends and family who have come round to visit. There is a large range of fabrics to choose from - the hardest part is choosing which one to buy! Prices are reasonable for a made to measure product, far better than my local blind shop who wanted to charge me twice the amount for something very similar! So easy to fit myself (and I'm not very good at DIY!) they come with step by step instructions similar to those that you get from Ikea - but with words as well as pictures! I would ... more

    Just ordered some blinds from web blinds. The company didn't provide screws or plugs to install them into ordinary plasterboard and wasn't even able to advise as to what I needed. Their advice: take the blinds to a DIY store and ask them for advice as to what I need. I find it extremely disappointing that the company doesn't provide the proper materials to fit the blinds in a very standard construction material; the notion that having spent several hundred pounds I now need to go to a DIY store is somewhat bewildering to me.     I ordered several samples of wooden slats for venetian blind. Carefully chose the shade I wanted. So far so good. The blind turned up when they said it would a week later. This is where problems started. The blind had been made in a shade that wasn't the one i ordered. 1st customer 'service' person told me that perhaps the wrong label had been put on the sample. Said he'd send more samples. They arrived. But I've still not got the blind I want. Phoned again - don't bother with emails, they read them but don't reply.     After searching many high street retailers and department stores we were struggling to find a blind for our bedroom. We could not find any ready made, as the window is the complete width of our bedroom, just over nine feet. We looked at made to measure from the John Lewis, but this worked out too expensive.     I had been thinking for some time about wanting roman blinds for a small bedroom used as an office and metallic-looking venetian blinds for the bathroom. I was very unimpressed by the offerings at the usual DIY and home-furnishing stores, none of which seemed to offer a made-to-measure service.
