    Advantages Advantages Good fast delivery, prices are good and they take paypal.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Too much packaging on everything.

    I've shopped a few times at CD WOW, and to be honest they've not been bad overall. The prices are certainly very competitive most of the time, and they have some rather excellent sales which are very much worth looking at. Product quality is excellent, and customer service (on the one occasion I had to use it) was pretty good too, so why would I not be wow'd by them you say... The site is reasonably laid out, the search works well which is very useful, and I can look for things by genre or price too. It's not the speediest website in the world, but it's not rediculously slow either unless ... more

    Stay well clear of this company. They are an absolute rip off. Poor product description, poor aftercare and no desire to put things right. They deliberately mislead customers with their product descriptions and prices but have no system in place to rectify any problemsyou may have. They will not offer a refund, their prices change daily, they are a shambles. They do not desrve your business and should not be recommended by reputable internet sites.     I ordered my CD on the 11th December it arrived on the 30th. 19 days is not acceptable. CD wow blame the postal delivery but they did not even dispatch it until the 19th December even though their web site said it was in stock and would normally be despatched the next day. It seems to have been sent from Hong Kong via Jersey which was not made clear in the delivery details and it is a misrepresentation to tell customers that Delivery Times are 5 to 7 days from despatch I am not happy and will never use CD wow again Their customer service are no good, they just send a form reply, they must have ... more

    Whilst my experience to date with CD WOW has been satisfactory, I am now convinced that I will never use them again. Earlier this month I ordered a CD for my wife's Christmas, and arranged for it to be delivered to my work address, I was advised it was despatched on 7th December. I have not received it, I have sent 2 emails to Customer Services, and also sent 2 messages through their web contact form, none have been replied to.     Competive prices are not much good if the order is placed and the order is then set as pending due to delivery of stock issues or items are on backorder I have had this lately with orders seemingly only completed when I try and cancel the order why do I persist .... its the only supplier of cd/dvds for using nectar points! Update Order cancelled on the 4th November 2009 ( and shown as cancelled on their site) arrived today 15/12 after being dispatched on 30th November. Put return to sender and put it back in the post ( no benefit in keeeping it as I bought the album elsewhere last month) ... more

    I have been using CD Wow for about 8 or 9 years now and I have been very happy with the service delivered until the last month or so. I pre ordered Norah Jones The Fall as I had received a voucher from CD Wow and didn't think much about the transaction until I realised over a week ago that the CD had been on sale for a few weeks I had not received the ordered copy. I logged on to the website which I think is an excellent website for purchasing CD's and DVD's by the way and checked the order status.     Disadvantages Disadvantages They offer things available in different region codes, double-check you order the right one

    I like shopping around for cheap prices because nowadays it's better to buy on the internet. I shop at places like Amazon and Play, but CD WOW! have just as much, and they have sales on stuff that isn't just American Idol stuff. I tested out some music and movies I knew were less known, and they had them. I was like "Yeah, I should bookmark this site". I read the reviews, and it was mixed. So I bought a cheap DVD, and it came fast. So I bought a PS3 game, and same again, so they seem like a trustworthy site. The site's big, and there's heaps of stuff.     Disadvantages Disadvantages impossible to get the products advertised (at least in a sensible timescale)

    Confusing / conflicting product entries, misleading / incorrect stock information, evasive & uncooperative customer service. I have tried on four separate occasions to order CDs from this site; on each occasion I have ended up having the order cancelled, either for non-delivery, incorrect status information, or the wrong product being sent.     Ordered call of duty modern warfare 2 for pc as a pre order and commander in chief in October, firstly they cancelled my commander in chief as they were unable to get stock(Amazon to the rescue). Then for no apparent reason they cancelled my modern warfare 2 last week, CD wow did apologise and re ordered it, amazingly they cancelled it again the day before release, but they have taken payment.
