    Disadvantages Disadvantages there is no logical reason for the 'mistake' they made.

    I booked a single flight on behalf of a friend so that she could accompany me. I gave all her Passport details etc then paid with my Debit card. Now they confirm I am the passenger. Mad, as I already have a booking on that flight.... Now I am asked to lengthen this review. Mad again! What on earth does a lengthy report add to a simple complaint? I am beginning to get very worried.... Mary had a little lamb, the fleece was white as snow, and everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go.......... Baa baa black sheep, have you any wool?     POOR SERVICE AND NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER!!!!!!! I am having a bad experience with Edreams (more like E-nightmare!) I bought to planetickets from Miami to Costa Rica and had to make a bank transfer because they had problems with my VISA and Mastercard. I attached documents of the transfer to the email as they told me to and 2 days after the had resieved the money. I thought - well, tickets bought! But NO.... I recieve a mail stating that the price had gone up over 70 EUR and I could transfer that money or get a refund. So I choose a refund, because I found this inrease in tickets already ... more

    My girlfriend and I tried to book a flight via edreams in November 2012. Our first attempt with my VISA card resulted in a notice that there was a problem with my VISA card. Ok, this can happen so I contacted my bank who stated that there was no problem with my VISA card. To move on, I cancelled this flight and we had another attempt with my girlfriend's VISA card. Same result. When my girlfriend called the credit card company the immediate reaction was: "Oh with eDreams we have problems all the time as the edreams infrastructure cannot handle all the requests - as a result they send an email ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages failure to send inbound flight tickets, expensive phone line to company and added a random amount

    I have just used edreams for the first time and will NOT be booking any of my flights through edreams again. What an utter shambles. I have just booked flights to Berlin my outbound flight tickets have arrived but as of yet my inbound tickets have not. Upon making a payment for my booking edreams added a £20 charge on without an explanation. When trying to contact edreams via telephone the call cost me over £1.50 a minute so I was left having to e-mail instead regarding this issue to avoid a very large phone bill! I travel out to Berlin in four weeks time and will most probably be left booking ... more

    All I can say, AVOID this 'company' at all costs! For starters you can't email this company after 'booking' - why??? Simple, it costs as much as a flight to call them! And what is more is you get through to an non-English speaking reject, awesome, then it is insane how many times they put you on hold, and why wouldnt they, every minute that passes they are earning money! After a 10 minute conversation with a talking spaz, it transferred me to their 'supervisor' and would'nt you know it, the person I got transferred to had no idea what I was calling about, so had to go through the whole process ... more

    they took my card details and over charged me .when i came back to ask why they kept me on the phone for 1 hour.up till now not sorted out.they keep changing me over the phone from on agent to another ,trying to avoid solving the problem . i called rayan air the company that issued the tickets and they said they r doggy company.why are they dealing with them any way.both companies are doggy.be a ware!! they said its rayan air problem and they detacted the wrong amount of moeny. rayan air said its their problem they r doggy . they should not accept abooking through them .this is not am excuse ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No response to repeated emails

    Nov 2011 booked & paid Edreams UK £284 for Malev air tickets, no problem etickets arrived. However, in middle of May 2012 just two weeks before departure Edreams mailed to say "sorry, Malev air gone bankrupt. We will try getting refund but you need to book alternative airline and we will not charge you booking fee"......I booked thru Edreams another airline for same trip....you guessed it , they charged me again for booking fee. Now back from holiday, all went well but before and after holiday Edreams continues to ignore my repeated emails re refund of their booking fee and refund of my £284 ... more

    I saw eDreams banner on my way back to Airport (I don't even remember which city it was). So taking in consideration that I travel a lot some discounts and cheap offers would be great for my budget. So I've decided to use it for my future trips. Sadly I was not so pleased after two recent failed attempts to book a hotel on eDreams (Today). It was even more disappointing that my credit card was charged twice. Thank God the money was only blocked temporarily, but it is a BIG discomfort. I have to wait about 10 days to get it unblocked to use my credit card again. I have immediately emailed ... more

    I will not spend much more time than I already have with edreams, but I will write a short warning about them: 1. I booked a ticket with edreams, and I pay with Paypal 2. I got an answer that I have to EMAIL A COPY OF MY CREDIT CARD AND PASSPORT (!) or fax it to edreams because of security. Dear edreams: The reason I use paypal is of security reasons... And to ask me to EMAIL a the credit card and passport information is so insecure that it borders to stupidity. Any hacker can snitch a copy of an email. (And I threw away my fax machine in 1995...) 3. After borrowing a fax machine, I got an ... more

    Looking at most of these reviews they are quite old and it may be that Edreams have improved. I have just booked some tickets from Europe to Africa and I used Edreams because not only were they the cheapest flights compared to other online agencies but also the flights are a long way ahead and most other vendors don;t have the dates avaialble yet, even the airline itself. I compared dates that are available with other agencies and E dreams came out cheaper. As soon as I booked I received aconfirmation of registration (in French, very odd!) and soon after an email confirmation of the booking. I ... more
