Advantages Advantages Better odds than bookmakers. You're up against people like yourself. Site runs beautifully on PCs.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Won't work on a Mac. Commission on bets and withdrawals maybe a bit high.

Betting has never been a way of making money but having money at stake on something (for example the recent England vs Greece game), can make it so much more exciting. Since the Internet betting revolution began most of my online bets have been made at Flutter.com. The simple reason being that I take far more pleasure out of winning someone else’s money than that of a bookmaker. On the other hand if I lose I’m safe in the knowledge that my money has gone straight into the pocket of another punter rather than Ladbrokes’ favourite Swiss bank account. The concept is, I’ve found, initially quite ... more

Advantages Advantages have fun making money

Disadvantages Disadvantages you could lose your stake

I was tempted by the free money at flutter. To start off with I got £15 from their promotion. It is a great concept. Instead of betting against the vile nasty bookies you bet against fellow gamblers... You can back a selection to win:- This is the opportunity to take odds laid by other punters on a selection that you think will win. If the odds you want are not being offered you can place a bet requesting the price you want and wait for a punter prepared to lay the bet at the odds you have asked for. Or you can lay a selection to lose:- You offer odds on a selection that you think will lose ... more

Advantages Advantages Can get great odds on your bet

Disadvantages Disadvantages sometimes a bit slow to load

Flutter.com is a great site for a small time gambler. More often than not, the odds on offer are much better than those offered by bookmakers. I started at flutter.com with an initial investment of £10 and have only made small bets since then (2 or 3 quid). The most i have staked to date is £15 on an evens favourite. However, i have managed to earn over £50 in less than a month betting on once or, at most, twice a day. The best way to win on this site is, firstly to pick an event you know a lot about, e.g. football or greyhounds or whatever. For me this is horseracing (as my opinion on the ... more

Advantages Advantages no bookie... YOU AGAINST ME

Disadvantages Disadvantages you could lose money

BETTING JUNKIE As an addict to just about anything where you can earn money from the Internet I LOVE THIS SITE. I started betting while bored at university with Ladbrokes and William hill. I won about £20 in my first two weeks and was hooked. I then discovered that there are thousands of online betting sites where they offer you free bets etc upon registering. I quickly gobbled the offers of www.bluesq.co.uk, www.surreysports.co.uk, eurobet.co.uk and www.sportingodds.co.uk. However once I had milked the site for what I could I would more often than not just leave and return only if their were ... more

Advantages Advantages Diversity of bets, No bookies involved, tremendous fun

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Move over bookies Flutter.com is here. I had heard about this site from a number of my friends but only actually visited it yesterday. As far as betting goes and as far as betting with your usual bookmakers, to use the word “different” is still an understatement. Flutter.com has added a brand new dimension to betting. The idea arouse when the founders Josh Hannah and Vince Monical agreed on a fun bet at a party. Josh lost on that occasion..., but looking for an opportunity to get the better of Vince, he proposed a new bet via email. The two had such a great time challenging each ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, avoids bookies, sometimes good odds on offer

Disadvantages Disadvantages Odds sometimes not as goos as bookies

Contrary to some recent ops this site no longer offers a free £10 bet when you join. However the basic attraction of the site is that it does not involve bookies or tax. The principal behind the site is simple. It offers the opportunity for all its membersa to gamble one on one, on virtually any topic you care to imagine. You can bet one on one with friends or with complete strangers. I am hooked because there are loads of bets available every week on Survivor and Big Brother. It adds a bit more interest to the programme when you tune in. The site is well laid out and easy to follow. It has ... more

Advantages Advantages Bet for whatever you want

Disadvantages Disadvantages Delayed & slow pay out, odds not necessarily better than established companies

The unique selling point of Flutter.com is that you are not betting against bookies, but other punters like you or me. As detailed elsewhere, there is a £10 introductory offer, and a secure payment credit card page. One thing to be aware of though is that just because you are betting against other punters, that does not mean the odds offered are going to be any better, quite the opposite on a number of occasions in my experience. The one large disadvantage that I have experienced is that, say the bet is part of an overall championship or contest, even if a bet is settled, one must wait for the ... more

Advantages Advantages A simple, fun, colourful website. And a great betting concept.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages You often find some really stupid odds being offered. People who have no idea about betting! {as though I'm experienced! ;-)}

This is not your usual run of the mill opinion on that little gem of a site 'flutter.com'. This is the story of the day I accidentally stumbled on a bug that the folks from flutter had on their website. ******* I had been a flutter.com member for a short while and found it very fun. I bet quite a lot (not vast sums, but reasonable amounts...beer money etc) and love betting and sports (bad combination I hear you mutter! -I know-). I had won the odd £20-£30 and had obviously taken advantage of the free £10 for initially joining... so I had not used any real money and was now in position of ... more

Advantages Advantages Ideal for a beginner, Easy to use and join up, Wide variety of bets and your choice of odds

Disadvantages Disadvantages You dont get accumulators like bigger bookmakers, You can loose alot of money, You pay a bit of money in commision out of your winnings

I have been with www.flutter.com since November 2000 and I have found this site is excellent for a little bit of fun for the novice gambler, but beware though as it can be addictive and you can be led into the bigger bets or the bigger gambling sites. For all those new starters, they give you a free £10 to start betting with. So it’s actually worth signing up just for that really, and if you want a few more points, then join through ipoints! At present, you will get 60 ipoints when you join, although this has been reduced from 100 ipoints in November last year. You might be able to with ... more
