    I have read reviews on expertreviews.co.uk which gave foto.com 5 stars. Blindly without reading user comments I proceeded to order an expensive Deluxe Photo Book. Got confirmation email that book is on process. Waited all weeks and working days according to the specifications in FAQs of FOTO.com, then suddenly one day received an email saying the printing have to be done again and that I have to wait 7 more working days.     Purchased 3 Photo books from this company.When they arrived the Text on the Front cover which should have been on the bottom was half way up the page covering the picture and half of the Text was missing. Sent about 6 Emails to the companies customer service ( as they have no phone number ) before they replied , asking for photographic evidence of the error. Sent this to them and waited 6 days for a reply. The reply was to Shred or Destroy the books , take a picture and then they would decide on if they will refund or Reprint.     Great website, easy to use, easy to pay, but they didn't deliver. However, I waited 2 weeks and then started wondering why I didn't receive the order, so I used their nice online order tracking system to see that they had only moved my order 1 step through the multi-step process. Knowing that it would be too late to receive the order on time to give as a gift, I wanted to cancel - easy enough given that they have not started the order yet. I emailed them - no response.     My experence with foto.com is mixed. I have ordered a number of items from their site over the past few years. I think the quality is reasonable considering it is cheap. I think you get what you pay for from this company, budget price products which are personalised from your photographs. Fotocom is a company which specialises in digital photo products and is based in Belguim. Recently I ordered a photo album composed of my personal photos, including photos of my children.     Advantages Advantages Modern website, fast uploading, cheap prices, good variety of products.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Long delivery times, no phone number, quality is not great.

    The website is a modern and well working system. Uploading is fast and product prices are very cheap. Found a few glitches whilst completing an order, sometimes, not all the photos you select are actually uploaded so do double check that everything you want is there. The majority of orders are completed in Belgium so delivery times are quite a while but the online tracking helps. It can be a bit misleading so ignore the expected shipment date and keep ckecking for the tracking number when it appears as it directs you straight through to the Royal Mail website which is very useful.     Last Christmas I was browsing the internet trying to find something different for my poor dad who for the last 10 or so years has received the usual socks and deodorant for Christmas of me. That's when I got a pop up for FOTO.com. Now I am not usually somebody who would opt for even paying attention to these annoying thing that pop up as you are trying to work or more importantly, shop for Christmas presents!     I found foto.com service on Picasa application from Google. I really thought that since it is advertised in there it is checked out and reliable. I was wrong. I must admit that I was really impressed by the lay out and the functionality. I could do anything I needed to create my albums. I was so excited by the cheap service that I ordered 3 albums (70 Euros) in one day to 2 different addresses. Result (3 MONTHS LATER) 2 of the orders have been sent but never arrived. the 3rd order is still being printed out. Their customer service never replied.     Disadvantages Disadvantages You are lucky if you can get your prints, but forget about quality and speed

    I ordered from them twice. The first time I waited over on emonth to get my order. They say the delay was due to the shipping company and not their fault. The quality of the prints was terrible (poor paper at least for greeting cards, and the colors were all off). Their customer support was useless (they respond immediately but do not address your questions). Shame on me I ordered from them again. After one month I am still waiting and apparently the order is stuck for "technical reasons". Based on my experience, the average lead times they declare on their website are just a lie.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Incompetent customer service, no phone contact, arrogant responses.

    We certainly wish we had read these reviews before we ordered from Foto.com. We had used them in Belgium and had been pleased with the results. Foto.com chose to split our 600+ print order into 3 pkgs and we received 2 of them. They screwed up our address on the 3rd and it did not arrive. At first, they said it was our fault, and after a few emails that they took 2 to 3 days in each case to respond to, they admitted their error, but never gave us a phone contact.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Worst customer service on the web. No contact email at all. Useless tracking.

    Foto.com is fine as long as nothing goes wrong. Two of my orders got here within a couple of days and the quality is fine. I was planning on placing an order every few days (I sell signed prints of my drawings), but then I placed my third order. Over a week later is has not turned up - it is past the last expected date on the order tracking. But there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL ANYWHERE ON THE SITE! Basically, you can track your order but if it doesn't arrive they basically tell you to go to hell. There is no way of contacting them apart from snail mail.
