    hi im dan 13 i have been member of the site for a since december 07 and i remember going on forums and getting codes for little LED torches then i decided to sell stuff to fund my new mobile phone so i went and found some of thoose dvs you get free with the paper and some sim cards and some junk someone was chucking listed them sold them paid £20 postage and got a sony ericson z610i with 2 batterys headphones and charger rrp£79 and i brought a 3.1mp camera boxed for 1270 swapits rrp£25 and i still have ... more

    The swop it shop is an auction website desgined for kids, in my opinion it is almost like an ebay for kids. Basically what you do is sell is put an item up for sale on the site and like ebay you can choose to put it up for auction or put it on buy it now. However, unlike ebay it doesn't cost you anything to put items up for sale on the site. And once you have sold it you earn swapits which is currency which you can only use on this paticular site.     I loved it and my children love it more. They have traded so much stuff, exchanging all the unwanted toys and presents and actually getting stuff they want. And for the first time, my 9 year old son is beginning to think of the value of possessions. swapitshop.com has helped him realise that his stuff is of real value and he ought to look after it.

    Swapitshop (Under 18's) - Sell things you don't want for things you do. I have been using this site for over 2 years now and I love it. It's amazing, you can buy anything from pokemon cards to a new xbox 360. The only cost is postage and packaging which, is slightly cofusing as you have to add the address of swapitshop on the package and then the member number, swap number and then you add on two stamps (one to get to swapitshop and one to get to the lucky person).     SwapitShop - "Things You Want For Things You Don't". www.swapitshop.com I've been a member of this website for almost two years now. Basically SwapitShop is a website aimed at 18's and under where you can sell items you don't want in exchange for points called Swapits. With these points, you can then bid on things you DO want that other swappers are offering!     I was a bit unsure of swapitshop when I first came across it. I mean a website where you get a load of items for free? But I went ahead and signed up. That wsa two years ago. I went back on it a few days ago onto an old account, I have two. On the first one i signed in as I had around 245 swapits [thats the stuff you buy the things with, sort of like money on ebay], so I searched around and came across the style section and browsed through the nail part. They had a lot of Maybelline Nail varnishes on so I bid on two of them a blue one and a white one and I won. Each for under 100 swapits each ... more

    Swapitshop is like ebay but there is hardly no money involed except from the postage its a teens website which you can sell your unwanted items and sell them for swapits and with your swapits BUY WHAT EVER YOU WANT!!! You can win swapits by entering the swapitshop competitions. You can enter the 2000 swapits, 500,1000 competions. You can use swapitshop aswell because you buy really good stuff on swapitshop and once you recieve them if you have ebay you can sell it on there for really good money.     its good to start off with then it does get a bit boring but its is very good for buying and selling less valuable stuff but when you buy something more valuable than a console or a mobile it is not very reliable at all so i wouldnt get your hopes up if you want to sell things the most important thing to do is to not over value your swap othere wise noone will buy it swapitshop is a good but not fantastic website, if you want to buy stuff go onto ebay and get your mum or dad to set up an account for you, when your selling stuff its also a good idea to get your swaps in as quick as possible ... more

    I have two kids aged 10 and 13, and they rave on about Swapitshop endlessly! The site is really simple to use and to register with. My kids got sent a Parental Consent form which I had to sign, so it is quite a kid-friendly site. The great thing about the site is that my kids don't have to buy stuff with money like ebay. Instead Swapitshop uses a points-based system. When my kids sells an item on the site, they get points. They then use these points to but things they want. It takes the stress from me!
