    That guy wants his £70 affiliate money. Yeah right he's really gonna get it! I suggest you look on the net regarding the scam this company pulled with PS2's and various other things. They used to offer top games for £1 but it was a 50:50 chance that you'd get them. I ordered about 3 of these games off them, 1 of them actually turned up (the other 2 didn't, but they didn't take the money either). But the biggest trick they pulled was with the £300 Playstation 2's they claimed they'd got a special order of PS2's in and could sell them for £150 instead of £300, but Sony wouldn't allow them to ... more

    I joined the slammer affiliate program about six months ago.The way it was supposed to work was,you advertise their site on your website,and they pay 10% for any sales.Sounded good to me. When you make a sale,they email you to let you know.They give you a link to click on which takes you directly to your stats page.So far so good.In the months I was with them I sold £700 worth of hardware & software.A nice little earner for me of £70.Or so I thought.     Offer to give away games, but charge £2.99 postage and packing. (It doesn't cost that much!) Offer PS2s at half price, but charge £299.99, then say the £150 refund will take 3-8 weeks!!! This is the way TheSlammer works. You do get your free games, and I must say that in recent weeks their service has speeded up. But once you have ordered, don't hold your breath. And I did order the half-price PS2. And after a number of phone calls it did arrive - even on the day they eventually specified for delivery.     I have known about theslammer.com for some time now. I was drawn to their website by an advertisement stating that they give away free computer games. I thought I would check it out and find out what the catches were. FREE GAMES Sure enough, they do give away free games on the condition that you pay £2.99 for postage. I bought a few games from this 'free section' over several weeks as you are only allowed to purchase one per week.     Theslammer.com has to be the worst online store I have ever been to, let alone the worst online gaming store. I have many a story to tell you about this supposedly 'excellent' gaming store. I first found this shop on the Internet when I was looking for places to pre-order a PlayStation 2. I found theslammer.com. They said I would get £30 off my PS2, AND that I would get it before Christmas. I got an e-mail from them later telling me about my order and that my PS2 would cost £300. Where had my £30 off gone??     I've had two very different experiences with the slammer and while I appreciate what they are trying to do, my most recent experience has soured my opinion so much that I will never be using the service again. I receive regular emails from the slammer telling me about latest offers and mid February 2000 they had an offer on a Playstation 2 for £150 for one weekend only. I quickly ordered my PS2 and was at first surprised to see 299.99 on the receipt. I emailed and found out that how it worked was you got the PS2 and filled in a rebate form.     recently i was directed to theslammer.com as a site to get free games.i am always doubtful about " free stuff ", but i thought i would try it.it is not entirely free you have to pay postage and packing, but i got a £29.99 full game for only £2.99, not a bad buy, in fact a bargain. the delivery of the game was effected in five days and was securely package in a strong package.i shall certainly revisit this site for more bargains, were else can you get a full game for this price. i suggest you try it yourself, you will be pleased you did ... more

    I have to admit to not purchasing anything as yet from the Slammer.com but I have received three of their free games (you only pay for postage) and so I am very impressed, but while searching their site, I have come across some amazing deals on Playstation games etc. Everything you want for your Computer & Playstation is on here at fantastic prices, and I don't know how they do it. As far as the free games are concerned, you are allowed to order one per week, and although I have done this for a few weeks running, the titles are not always available as they have run out, but they do e-mail you ... more

    When i first stumbled onto this site i was initially impressed. The site was easy to navigate through, and all the links worked. I could find the games i wanted quickly, and order them with no fuss. The games i ordered came through quickly and on time - even though it was the christmas period. Also, on suggesting a new product they didn't have, they added the item to the store, and gave me a 10% discount on it for suggesting it to them. One of the best deals they do though is their free games policy. Every week they put 8 games (mix of PC and PSX games) on sale for free. This works out to only ... more
