    Advantages Advantages Great search engines, so many different things on the website

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Can be slow to load all the different things

    Yahoo is undoubtly one of the best search engines around on the internet! Starting off with what it does best, its seach facilities. The search engine is extremly fast and not only with webpages it also loads images within seconds. The search engine also has a very good advanced search engines so it filters out the rubbish for you. There is also the Yahoo Video section which again works like the images but has videos, pretty straightforward, again it contains good advanced search options such as find images of a certain size or resolution and of course the safe search to ensure young people ... more

    Advantages Advantages Completely free, the search engine is powered by google, the games absolutley rock, and hours of entertainment can be had annoying the geeks in the chatrooms.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A huge site makes it harder to find your way around.

Various television advertising Campaigns have made it more famous than MSN Hotmail.     Yahoo is an excellent site with free email, web sites, online games and chat rooms. Yahoo comes with an excellent search engine, so you can find what you're looking for in seconds. It also gives you access to their online shopping, the stock market, TV listings, sites for children only, news and more. To get the free services below and more you have to register with yahoo, this only takes a few minutes but it is well worth it.     Advantages Advantages Good search results, loads of content.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Promotion can be a bit long winded, possible bugs with SMS alerts.

    For years I never liked Yahoo, I have no really logical explanation for this, I think it was because it was difficult if not impossible to do automatic promotions to the site. However with "age and maturity" I now feel that their policy of a "human being" reviewing each submission is better than the unknown policies of many of the other search engines! Searching results are accurate and precise as a result, some of the best most appropriate results of all the search engines I feel.     Yahoo is the best web portal that I have found. It has everything you could possible want e-mail, chat and instant messaging. The search engine although not good if your are looking for information on the rarer subject is great place to start any search. If you are looking for an online shop chances are you will find it here. Yahoo messenger, the yahoo instant messenger, has been facing a few problems lately but generally it is the best messenger I have used; it has all the features you could possible want, file transfer, voice chat it even has net to phone.     Yahoo is the best search engine on the web. It's website is set out in a simple and easy on the eye way and does not feature too many adverts, it loads itself up really quickly too. There is a box where you can search for things in. It usually takes less than one minute to search for things using Yahoo. You can search the wholoe of the Internet, just the UK or just Ireland. If you follow their search tips you usually get the results that are wanted, remember to use speech marks around double words, etc. The site will bring you around 20 links back depending on how many threre are per page ... more

    Yahoo! I've found it! Yahoo is the best place on the net to get what you want, it has excellent categories and great sub-categories. Yahoo has merged with google.com so they have control of advanced searchs, I did prefer the old layout for this part but it's growing on me and I like the way it looks for them. Yahoo! also has other features, like it's own mail - a service similar to hotmail, chat - one of the best chat servers available, shopping - a collection of famous shops to get you what you want.     Yahoo! Briefcase is an excellent idea. Fed up with carrying disks around? Worry about possibly needing to take something into work from home? Worried about disk corruption? Yahoo! Briefcase allows you a different option. Within the accessories they give you simply use the Briefcase to store files remotely on the web. It is secure as you want it to be (you can allow other people to access files should you so wish) and you can upload or download from anywhere.
