Disadvantages: none really..........

I have read so many of Danielle Steel books, and I love them all with varying degrees, this one is good but not necessarily one of her best. The main character in this story is a 43 year old woman called India taylor, whose life revolves around her four children. Four children for whom she does everything with, soccer, baseball, swimming team, ballet, tennis. She loves it but with them aged between nine and fourteen, it isnt easy. Her husband Doug, ...

Advantages: I felt like I understood the feelings of at least two of the main characters.
Disadvantages: A bit boring. Too much repetition in first half of book.

...tell you that the main Daddy did quite well when forced to take on all of the day-to-day parenting, but there are also two co-starring Daddies in the story as well. I would expect any man who waded through this to think more than once before deliberately becoming a Daddy himself. There seemed to be a lot of repetition of the way characters felt through the whole of the book, but especially the feelings of a mother who may not have had any children ...
...This repetition of emotions meant that I felt I knew the main characters quite well, but I prefer to get to know characters in a more interesting way. In contrast to this repetition, I think it odd that the weddings and honeymoons included involved very little detail. Going back a few years I was reading every Danielle Steel book as they were being released, and eventually got sick to death of reading them, and went on to read others. At Christmas this year one of my children bought me this bright pink book called "Dating Game", and I must admit left it quite a while before picking it up to have a read, and when I did I actually found that I could not put it down, and read it in three days which is quite unusual ...

Advantages: easy to read
Disadvantages: once you start reading it you can't put it down

I am a Danielle steel fan, and i really enjoyed this book "irresistible forces." i found it easy to read unlike some of her other novels that take a while to get into and are quite confusing. I was touched by this story and am sure alot of people can relate to this story. it's really quite simple, a man and a woman (husband and wife) end up living apart for their careers and end up falling for different people.
