Advantages: fast connection by wireless or wire, reliable
Disadvantages: not as cheap as some but worth it, ignore quick setup

Belkin Wireless G Router
Review of Belkin Wireless G Router F5D7230-4 - wireless router by Sasha23

Advantages: Works very well 3 floors up.
Disadvantages: If you are on Vista, takes a costly telephone call to get you connected.

...is no way I could have worked it out for myself, it was far too complicated to get this router to work on Vista. Once it was working though everything has gone smoothly. I do find that the internet is somewhat slower however he has a great connection on the 3rd floor and we have no complaints. Although the initial set up was frustrating and involved a costly telephone call, it is worth the money and works very well. ... Read review

Review of Belkin N1 Wireless Modem Router - wireless router by regmigrant

Advantages: Extended range, capable of streaming HD video (mostly)
Disadvantages: Susceptible to interference, needs matching adapters

...to losing connections than other Belkin routers I've used - any local microwave, dect phone, or next doors wireless router can bring your connection down and though reconnection is usually instant it does occasionally require a reboot of the pc or the router (or both). Overall i don't think its worth the price premium over others in the range unless the additional signal strength and distant is vital to your requirements. Its certainly not something ...
