Winnie the Pooh and waffles?
Review of Disney DN002 Winnie THE POOH Sandwich Make by KPN7

Advantages: Perfect for specialist collectors
Disadvantages: Cant realy make waffles

This is a family fun waffle maker. It shouldnt be used if you are planning on making any large ammount of waffles for the family however I feel its real value is as a collectors item. I mean seriously what use can a waffle machine be which only makes one waffle at a time and then takes up to twenty minutes to make the waffle. I must say however my sister got one of these for her daughters and it does make a nice waffle or toaster sandwhich. No. Seriosuly, ...
...to store and has a rather attractive design. Well what else would you expect from Winnie the Pooh. It just delightful. Alright now I'm being slightly sarcastic. Well to be generally honest there is nothing else to be said towards this. If you are a collector then this item is a must, however if you realy want to make waffles, then please use something esle such as a George Foreman grill. Thank you for your time in reading this review. ... Read review

Would you like some toast?
Review of Philips HD2400 by EHKodiak

Advantages: Very durable, didn't break once while at university
Disadvantages: It only makes two at a time

This is a very simple and easy to use Toastie Maker, that has a two sandwich capacity. I used one of these at university, and it lasted the entire year even with grubby drunken student hands putting all sorts inside of it. It cost me £20 or there abouts, and was a handy thing to have when the toaster blew up. It automatically turns itself off when the toasty is up to the maximum temperature, and its easy to wipe clean when melted cheese or other ...
...found easy about the toastie maker was that it was actually easy to close when the bread was inside. The last maker I had was rather difficult to shut once the bread was inside, but this was a doddle. Very much recommended if you have a sibling at university and they always whinge about not having anything to eat, or that cooking is too hard. ... Read review

Don't loaf around the kitchen.
Review of Breville TR39 by runetune

Advantages: Not just a toasted sandwich maker
Disadvantages: Can take a little while to cool down

...decided to go for the Breville TR39 Sandwich press. ~ The Difference between a sandwich press and toaster ~ Well basically it all comes down to the hinges. A sandwich toaster has fixed hinges and allows you to use regular bread, which it then turns into a toasted sandwich using either one or two compartments. It also means your not as restricted in the slice of bread in overall size (often our old machine wouldn't take more than a small loaf slice). ...
...hinges that allow for thicker bread like ciabata, panini and focaccia. Great if like us you enjoy a variation on the toasted sandwich dream. ~ The Toasted Sandwich ~ The first noticeable difference between this and the toasted sandwich maker is there are no compartments that the bread fits into. This also means you don't get the edges sealed in the same way, nor do you have the sandwich "sealed" in half. I admit I was a little concerned that the ... Read review

I love to go a Waffling!
Review of Delonghi WR 30 by jo145

Advantages: Delicious waffles
Disadvantages: Eat too many!

Waffles! They bring back happy memories of a holiday with my sister in Belgium when I was only 13 years old. My Grandmother bought me a waffle iron from the Woman's Weekly magazine about 36 years ago, which I still have but it has seen better days. Having treated myself whilst out for a meal and thoroughly enjoyed a Cinnamon waffle and ice cream and toffee sauce, I resurrected my Waffle iron, which is heated on the gas cooker, it cooks one at a time, ...
...so disappointed that I searched the net and bought a modern electric machine. *Why De Longhi.?* A name I trust as my coffee machine is used everyday and is *fabulous, so I happily decided on this beautiful trendy looking machine. The Argento range is now a design statement in its own right. The design with its exclusive non-marking finish will *add that extra bit of style to any kitchen. In fact, you can buy other matching items, if you want to ... Read review

A great time saver for Sunday brunch!
Review of Kenwood WM804 Disney Waffle Maker by JodiEllis

Advantages: Makes a quick and delicious breakfast treat
Disadvantages: No healthy recipes included

I received this Mickey waffle maker as a Christmas present and I have to say that I have found it a great addition to my kitchen. From an English perspective I would say that the waffles that it makes are more like Scotch pancakes than a traditional waffle - I used the basic recipe which is included with the product. The waffle maker is so easy to use, as a weekend treat I would never again bother to get the frying pan to make pancakes with the added ...
...device all you have to do is plug it and wait for a few minutes for it to heat up and you are ready to go. Each mould of the four takes a small ladle full of batter and you then simply close the lid and wait for about 5 minutes. The outcome is four pancakes that are just the right size for a snack. I find that the basic batter makes about 20 pancakes which more than satisfies 2 adults for breakfast or brunch. The other good thing is how easy it is ... Read review
