The Hinari Lifestyle SW293 Sandwich Maker
Review of Hinari SW293BL by micksheff

Advantages: Very Easy To Use And Clean
Disadvantages: No Seperate On/Off Switch

I received my Hinari Lifestyle SW293 Sandwich Maker as a Christmas Gift but decided to wait a couple of months before reviewing it until I had familiarised with myself it. The particular version that I received was White in colour, although they are available in a wide range of different colours including Red, Green, Yellow and Black. Since it was a Gift I did not know how much these things would normally cost but I had a quick look Online for completeness ...
...sale at Tesco for £9.99, which is considerably cheaper than I imagined. Anyway on with the review..... APPEARANCE The Sandwich Maker itself is quite modern looking yet rather simple in design. It is roughly rectangular in shape with its longest sides curved outwards, and at the front there is a handle which is preformed into the shape of the plastic design. On the top of the appliance there is a Red/Green indicator light but other than this and ... Read review

Hinari, it's dinner time!!!
Review of Hinari SP275 by Expired-Account

Advantages: Looks stylish, produces yummy treats
Disadvantages: Hot

...but then we saw the Hinari SP275, not like the old sandwich toasters, it was just to hot plates?! I ummed and ahhed for a few minutes as it was more expensive, but then it looked great and for £19.97 I couldn’t really argue besides which it was already in the trolley. So, we brought the toaster home, unpacked it and found it a place on the kitchen worktop. To be honest after this I forgot about it for a few days but when I came home one day and my ...
...interesting discoveries and creations. The Hinari SP275 can be used to warm sausage rolls, he has also made a number of delicious panninis using the half cooked baguettes you can buy from Tesco. He has also toasted single pieces of bread in order to make croutons for a salad. I am sure there are also a number of far more adventurous creations that could be made with the help of this sandwich toaster. The SP275 is larger than the old style sandwich ... Read review

The ultimate toastie!
Review of Hinari SW191 by interscope123

Advantages: Simple to use and makes a great toastie!
Disadvantages: Sometimes gets a bit messy

...toastie. Then i discovered the HINARI LIFESTLE toastie machine, it was given to me from my grandmother as a present one christmas, and when i first saw it i though..."what a bloody pointless thing to give me when i have perfectly good taoster that does the same thing at home". Oh how wrong i was. I had for a few weeks before actually using it then i decided one day to give it a try, and i was pleasantly suprised, it was a lot easier than using a ...
...toastie machine in a socket and a red light should go on, you then have to wait a minute until it turns green and that means you can put the untoasted toastie in! whilst waiting get two slices of bread and butter one side one each slice. then turn one slice of bread butter side down and place your toppings on it. Say your just having a cheese toastie than place a good amount of cheese on the slice bread, buy now the light on the toastie machine should ... Read review

A Kitchen Staple with Longevity
Review of George Foreman 12205 NEXT Grilleration by Jammie87

Advantages: Speed of Cooking, Ease of Use, Removable Plates
Disadvantages: Top Plastic Cover is flimsy

Exceptionally easy to use and a staple for my kitchen. The next grilleration foreman grill is easy to use as it has variable temperature settings and a built in timer, meaning all you have to do is switch it on and chuck some meat on it. Size-wise it fits about 4 chicken breasts which is a decent size, but for the price i would have liked something which could handle more food. The reason i bought one was for the removable plates, which are the best ...
...stick the plates in the microwave means that this model had great longevity compared to the lesser models which will accumulate grease etc easily. I do have a complaint with the top section though, the plastic cover over the top was extremely flimsy and broke within a few weeks, although this doesnt really affect the grill that much since the primary use is just to cook meat. The grill also comes with a handy recipe book and a couple of fat-drip ... Read review

Don't loaf around the kitchen.
Review of Breville TR39 by runetune

Advantages: Not just a toasted sandwich maker
Disadvantages: Can take a little while to cool down

...decided to go for the Breville TR39 Sandwich press. ~ The Difference between a sandwich press and toaster ~ Well basically it all comes down to the hinges. A sandwich toaster has fixed hinges and allows you to use regular bread, which it then turns into a toasted sandwich using either one or two compartments. It also means your not as restricted in the slice of bread in overall size (often our old machine wouldn't take more than a small loaf slice). ...
...hinges that allow for thicker bread like ciabata, panini and focaccia. Great if like us you enjoy a variation on the toasted sandwich dream. ~ The Toasted Sandwich ~ The first noticeable difference between this and the toasted sandwich maker is there are no compartments that the bread fits into. This also means you don't get the edges sealed in the same way, nor do you have the sandwich "sealed" in half. I admit I was a little concerned that the ... Read review
