Excellent Quality A3 Flatbed Scanner
Review of Epson GT 15000 Pro by BorisHotch

Advantages: Full A3 Flatbed Scanner, Very Fast
Disadvantages: Price, Glass can get scratched, Heavy (13Kg)

...purchased to compliment an older Epson GT12000 Scanner. The initial setup was very straightforward, being both SCSI and USB, with the USB being the preferred method mainly for the convenience of being able to switch on the scanner without having to reboot the machine (which has to be done with SCSI if it wasn't on at bootup), and also not having to take the case off the PC to install a SCSI card. It is also possible to connect it with an optional ...
...to 400Mbps, but I can't say how much it costs or if its easy to set up, apart from the fact that you have to remove the back of the scanner to insert the card. Another optional extra available is an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), which allows you to scan in up to 100 sheets. The only downside is that it is quite large and therefore makes what is already a large scanner even bigger. Small price to pay though if you have lots of scans to do. The ... Read review

Professional scanning
Review of Epson GT 2500 by thewhitewolf

Advantages: Superb quality, nice definition
Disadvantages: expensive

Have this at work so thought i'd review it as no one else has. Its a very professional machine scanning your A4 documents. Output is 27 pages per minute in black and white, with colour its 11 per minute. With a resolution of 1200 by 1200 dpi it has outstanding quality which is assured by the 'Epson Automatic Document Enhancer technology'. Very easy to use and to connect to your PC or Mac via the USB 2.0 port and can also be connected to your local ...
...done alot of scanning through this machine and the 48-bit colour has never let me down whilst providing optimal performance. I wouldn't recommend buying this for your home due to the expense however this would be perfect for a work environment in any office or other workplace where a professional scanner is needed. It's a better than average scanner in my experience and one that my workplace appreciates. ... Read review

Epson Perfection.......Again
Review of Epson Perfection V750 Pro by Craigshadow12

Advantages: Excellent scan quality, Full version of SilverFast Ai
Disadvantages: Little Diffrence from V700, Film holders are a little flimsy for a pro scanner.

...as follows :- The Epson V700 Photo scanner was trageted at the high end consumer. Whereas the V750 is targeted for the more professional user. The V750 has an Anti-Reflection Optical Coating as well as CCD Glass to help reduce the ammount of reflection. These are Features that Only a professional would look for when buying this type of product and are not all needed for you casual high end consumer in my opinion. The V750 also includes a full version ...
