Epson's Best Scanner
Review of Epson GT 7000 by Union

Advantages: Build Quality Looks Like It Will Last Forever
Disadvantages: No Longer Made

...the TWAIN driver from the Epson website which also includes support for Windows 95,98,Me,NT 4.0,2000 as well as Mac 7.5.1 and later. Which is good to see as so many firms don't seem to provide drivers for Windows Me. I so pleased with this scanner I strongly suggest you try and pick one up secondhand as they are so well built compared to the new models. ... Read review

Exactly what is says on the label
Review of Epson Perfection 610 by Woody2004

Advantages: Quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: Not very stylish, large

I've had this scanner for a few years and have reamined impressed with its solid performance. As with everything i buy i thoroughly researched this scanner before walking into the shop and was convinced that it was the best around for under a hundred quid. It has a USB 1.1 interface (the accepted standard for this class) and with a 1,5ghz CPU performs more than adequately with little time spent waiting around once the scan has finished. Colour depth ...
...the scanner is faultless however the outside does look a ittle uninspiring being a simple beige with a single button for a quick scan. Coupled with this is its large size demanding a reasonable sized work surface though i believe that it would be well suited to an office environement well style is not at the top of the list of priorities. It is very competent at what it does and, with few frills such as negative scanning, is a solid and cheap performer ... Read review

PERFECT IMAGES.
Review of Epson Perfection 1200 Photo by thingywhatsit

Advantages: So reliable.
Disadvantages: None.

...my love affair with the Epson was when I saw how solid the machine was and I knew that it would do what I wanted it to do. It was important too that this should be a scanner that would last me through the evolution from Windows 98 to whatever software I chose and this one does. It has a USB connection as well which was handy. Many scanners offer a lot though this one fulfilled its promise, and the software that came with it was extremely good. Epson ...
...get sharper image, or trust Epson and use their enhancement button. I trust Epson and it works every time. This works well with my photographic programs, and I was able, with the use of the special bed, to scan all my old negatives and make them into pictures. This was wonderful as I had lost all the originals years ago. I was also able to put in slides and to change them into photographs and this was amazing because a lot of the slides I had never ... Not bad
Review of Epson Perfection 1200S by paul170184

Advantages: Little etter than my old one
Disadvantages: Not great

...good. I read about the Epson Perfection in PC magazine which gave it Editor's Choice award so I decided to give it a try since it was available at buy.com with a £20 off coupon. To my disappointment, it 's not much better than my old Umax scanner. Somewhat faster, but no better output on my HP 733c printer using premium photographic grade paper. Also, the accompanying software, Adobe PhotoDeluxe, would frequently crash the computer requiring a hard ... Read review

Wicked
Review of Epson Expression 636 by paul170184

Advantages: cool
Disadvantages: none

...twice the resolution of this Epson only got a blob instead of writing. This scanner is 600 dpi but it uses every bit of it. Colors are great and details in the dark areas are there. The only thing that kind of sucks about the scanner is the drivers. Get the Silverfast drivers they are great. I bought this scanner after I noticed that Cosco and Eckerd’s were using it at their Kodak stations to scan in reprints. They had covered up the Epson Logo ... Read review
