Other than this slight annoyance the installation is very simple as it comes with a very comprehensive instruction manual and the onscreen guide when installing is plain and simple. If you need a Sleek, High Quality and Affordable scanner, Look no further. It is so simple, Put the document in, press scan, DONE!!! I paid £50 for my scanner, the image quality is spectacular. ...helpdesk support for scanners from Xerox is non existant. I searched the web for a new update of the driver, and I kept going around in circles, with the ending conclusion that the updated driver didn't exist yet. I then preceed to phone Xerox to ask about this, when you call Xerox with the number on the box, you get a recorded message which asks you to enter your serial number, I did this and the recorded message kept telling me this product didn't ...

Overall I think that the Mustek 1248UB is a very good scanner as I have one, and I have to say that it has been very reliable for the 3 years I have had it.
