Hello, I've got a fairly mutual view of this toaster as my mother bought it but looking at the price i would say it isn't worth it. It does make nice even toast but unfortunately it's only able to hold 2 pieces of toast at a time, which is rather annoying for a hungry teenager such as myself. ...crumb removal system by pulling out a tray at the bottom which is a good feature. However, i do like the handle to push up the toast as it makes it very visable to see how cooked it is. Finally, the best feature about it is the looks, it looks great nice chrome finish which stylish black sides. I was bought this toaster a couple of months ago and I'm absolutely thrilled. All the toater I've had in the past have lived in a kitchen cupboard when not in use however this one has pride of place on my worktop. It looks fantastic- really stylish and perfect for a modern or traditional kitchen. It erforms really well and the defrost function is great. Absolutely basic. Built down to the price, and should be used accordingly. Only takes small medium slices of bread, otherwise the top of the slice laughs at you whilst the remainder is subject to too much heat-a result, I think, of the slots being too narrow. Looks great, has simple functions . Robust logical construction. Like any normal toaster this one has slight difficulty loading longer loaves. Setting the browner dial to 3 delivers toast in 2 minutes Browns smaller crust free loaves slightly unevenly. Best to pre-heat the toaster first if you want even browning.
