This is a standard layout and size tumble drier, which does what it says on the tin... It is a no-frill item... but works well and does its job. The load capacity is stated as 5Kg (or 11 pounds if your getting on a bit like me!) The drier has a standard glass front loaded door, which appears to have a good closing and opening action. The door does not lock but the appliance switches off when the door is open... preventing possible injury/danger. ...

...ever would i buy a hotpoint again, specially from the big shop named after a shooting star!! prior to the hotpoint i had some crappy cheap dryer, cant remember the make, but the poor thing went to the skip to be replaced by a totally unreliable hotpoint. very disappointed, my cheap dryer worked perfectly and never let me down once, ok it might not have looked as nice but it sure was a trusty dryer! ... Advantages: Dries quickly and quietly.
Disadvantages: Condensed moisture leaks everywhere.

It does away with the need to empty the condenser chamber or duct to outside. Very simple to plumb in to existing plumbing and it's very easy to use. It does the job of drying extremely well, and quietly too. However ... We are on our second HHD780X in as many months. The first 'leaked' steam which then condenses everywhere, including inside the dryers enclosure, so we had water everywhere. Seals, ducts and drum were replaced a few times, but ...

I bought this machine just over a year ago from currys for £100. I was a straight off the shelve display model. Works fine no problems. Only a 3kg dry though, but I can fit most of my 7kg wash into it. Has a cool and a hot heat button. Has a 10 minute cool down time at the end. I have a pipe from it into a white box with water in it. The box with pipes was supposed to be £20 from curries. We didn't entend to get it but we went back in to see that ...
...hold on. They they gave us the box with a longer pipe and one that fits. Great value for money. Very easy to easy, you just turn a dial clockwise. It has both clockwise and anticlockwise drying. the cleaning grid is very easy to remove and easy to clean. should be done after each dry. so easy though its never been a problem. ... Read review

I bought this last year whilst renovating my new flat. I hadn't had a tumble dryer before and so although I wanted a cheap machine for the few times I would use it, I also wanted to get a good machine that I could stick in the cupboard out of the way. I find this Zanussi tumble dryer very easy to use, all I have to do is put the clothes in, scroll the control knob to the time that I want and press Start! ...I mainly use the dryer for my towels and bed sheets, or in winter when I finish off a load from the line. I don't personally find this a problem, but my partner always says that it's hard to empty the water tank at the bottom of the machine, as it's very low down and you have to bend down and unclip something to get the tank out...
