Hi. We bought our hoover hnc180 from currys at the back end of last year for £220 . We own a indesit washer dryer however this has poor drying capabilities so needed an alternative drying machine for the winter months. The machine was ready to take away that day. ...to this is the water tray needs emptying after every few loads and the condensor needs washing out about once a week . along with cleaning the lint filter which is standard practice for almost every dryer. the water tray and condensor are easy to access although some machines have the water tray located where the soap drawer would be on a washing machine which would save having to bend down to the bottom of the machine. however this is a good piece ... Disadvantages: Condensed moisture leaks everywhere.

It does away with the need to empty the condenser chamber or duct to outside. Very simple to plumb in to existing plumbing and it's very easy to use. It does the job of drying extremely well, and quietly too. However ... We are on our second HHD780X in as many months. The first 'leaked' steam which then condenses everywhere, including inside the dryers enclosure, so we had water everywhere. Seals, ducts and drum were replaced a few times, but ...

Disadvantages: Unusable, as door latch disintegrates after a few hours.

...the new machine unsable. Hoover sent out a repairman, who said the component hadn't been fitted properly when the machine was built, and who said that he'd not encountered the problem before. He refitted it and said that it should all be fine. The same component has just collapsed again after four days of use. I bought this machine just over a year ago from currys for £100. I was a straight off the shelve display model. Works fine no problems. Only a 3kg dry though, but I can fit most of my 7kg wash into it. Has a cool and a hot heat button. Has a 10 minute cool down time at the end. I have a pipe from it into a white box with water in it. ...hold on. They they gave us the box with a longer pipe and one that fits. Great value for money. Very easy to easy, you just turn a dial clockwise. It has both clockwise and anticlockwise drying. the cleaning grid is very easy to remove and easy to clean. should be done after each dry. so easy though its never been a problem. ... Read review
