Advantages: Easy to use, easy to clean filters
Disadvantages: End of programme and water tank full alarm can drive you a bit crazy!

I bought this last year whilst renovating my new flat. I hadn't had a tumble dryer before and so although I wanted a cheap machine for the few times I would use it, I also wanted to get a good machine that I could stick in the cupboard out of the way. ...I mainly use the dryer for my towels and bed sheets, or in winter when I finish off a load from the line. I don't personally find this a problem, but my partner always says that it's hard to empty the water tank at the bottom of the machine, as it's very low down and you have to bend down and unclip something to get the tank out... Disadvantages: Makes my washing machine look ancient!

My Hotpoint tumble dryer gave up the ghost after 3 years & was not economical to repair!! Ciao gave me some ideas from reviews and I short listed several makes/models including a Zanussi - a make that I have never bought before as I was put off by the name (don't ask me why, the name never appealed!) My sister who is EXTREMELY fussy about everything has always had Zanussi white goods & raves over them so this time I allowed myself to look at them ...

I wondered what i could possibly write about this tumble dryer, that wasnt in the description so i have decided to tell you everything that i think is outstanding about this tumble dryer. For starters hooray the condenser tumble dryer, no more hanging a pipe out the back door or having fluff up your walls or better still you can leave it on at night and not have to worry about people walking in as your back door is open. secondly the door is great ...

Then theres the fact it takes huge amounts of clothes 7kg and it doesnt take very long to dry just 50 mins and thats after a economy wash rather than a super spin wash its doesnt use huge amounts of electric and is energy efficent level b. Advantages: Dries quickly and quietly.
Disadvantages: Condensed moisture leaks everywhere.

It does away with the need to empty the condenser chamber or duct to outside. Very simple to plumb in to existing plumbing and it's very easy to use. It does the job of drying extremely well, and quietly too. However ... We are on our second HHD780X in as many months. The first 'leaked' steam which then condenses everywhere, including inside the dryers enclosure, so we had water everywhere. Seals, ducts and drum were replaced a few times, but ...
