Tumble Dryers

Advantages: fast drying big loads
Disadvantages: big machine may not fit where your last did

...my reveiw of the matching admiral ADW22 washing machine which we bought back in 2004 along with this tumbler. It has been used virtually daily all year round since 2004 as we dont use a line everything gets tumble dried, and we have a swimming pool that is invaded by dozens of my sons freinds throughout the summer and the wife always tumbles their towels before they go home and this can be upto 3 times a day in the holidays. ...it requires a 30amp outlet to operate (it does not come with a plug) not hard to do if your able to install a bit of 6mm twin and earth cable or contact a qualified electrician so I guess it may be a bit costly to run, but there again it dries stuff very quickly. I know I should be a bit more green but it works for us, perhaps I should plant a tree or three! ... Read review

Bought this dryer after my previous one finally packed in, I am a foster carer for 3 children + I have 2 teenage girls of my own, so that can add up to a lot of washing, rainy scottish days means I use this dryer practically everday. I've owned it now since christmas and its worked well for us, It dries quicker than my last condenser dryer (sorry white knight) but the length of time is important when waiting on your jeans to dry to go down the pub, ... Advantages: WHEN WORKED WHICH WASN'T FOR LONG DID DRY CLOTHES
Disadvantages: UNRELIABLE AND DANGEROUS

...and has broken yet again Hotpoint want £94 to come out and repair. Problem this time is Drum not turning and heating element gettting super hot, these seem to be very common problems with this product. I Had the heating element replaced before as it wasn't getting hot at all. THIS MACHINE NEARLY BURNT MY HOUSE DOWN had machine on for 5 minutes and it starting making a funny noise and a funny smell, turned it off, checked everything and moved it forward ...
...sure this would have caught fire.....do you think Hotpoint care !!! not at all, customer service said there is nothing they can do I still have to pay the £94.....HOTPOINT are absolute RUBBISH and would never ever get my custom every again. This Machine is going in the BIN. ... Read review

Advantages: Spacious drum, easy to empty, moveable, efficient
Disadvantages: Slightly noisy

I purchased this dryer around 2 weeks ago after my old dryer conked out and yes what a lovely large drum, plenty of room inside for your clothes and the condensor unit is so easy as it is waist high so easy to pull out and empty. This machine is a very light and has easy movement. It is very esay to operate with clear buttons and an easy time dial and a touch on the door and it will open for you.
