Creda T400 VW(Creda Simplicity)
Review of Creda T400 by
helpu121
Advantages: Cheap and Cheerful, Anti-Tangle
Disadvantages: Dont expect it to last forever.
This is a standard layout and size tumble drier, which does what it says on the tin... It is a no-frill item... but works well and does its job. The load capacity is stated as 5Kg (or 11 pounds if your getting on a bit like me!) The drier has a standard glass front loaded door, which appears to have a good closing and opening action. The door does not lock but the appliance switches off when the door is open... preventing possible injury/danger.
... ...of the internal drum. This pulls out and can be carefully opened out and cleaned. This is a little flimsey and plastic, but providing you treat it gently, it should last a long time.
The appiance has a push button heat selecting switch for selecting low or high heat.
The rotary timer control ranges from 10mins to 120mins of drying time, with a standard 10minute cooling tumble cycle during the final 10minutes of drying.
There is an anti- tangle ...

A Lot of Hot Air.
Review of Bosch WTL6003GB by
DavidBr
Advantages: None that Come to mind
Disadvantages: This machine exhausts unacceptable amounts of Hot Air into the room when compared to other machines
...the temperature. After contacting Bosch they are unable to confirm that this is normal or is likely to be the result of a manufacturing defect and want me to schedule for a service call to check the machine, for which I may have to pay.
Our daughter has an Electrolux condensing dryer and we have experience of a Fagor and neither of these machines have the same problem. In fact the Fagor is excellent!
We are so disappointed that we may have to throw ...

White Knight 37AW Best of British
Review of White Knight 37AW by
gt5952
Advantages: Repairable, cheap, simple, British
Disadvantages: Drive belt breaks a lot
The White Knight 37 AW is a base model dryer, and is from their budget range. Costs vary when new, and mine was bought for £79.
As a machine, it is very simple, and easy to repair when things go wrong, which is quite important for this apparatus!
The front side of the machine is extremely simple, It has a timer - which doubles as a on / off switch and a temperature switch, with Hi / Lo settings. You can also find the load / unload door on the front ... ...to the inside through the door allows removal of the fluff filter.
The rear of the machine has the exhaust output which can be directed via a pipe or to a condenser box.
Its power input is at 240V, but it doesnt require that ammount, and will work sufficiently well on 24V (Will drain the source quickly).
The machine is designed to hold a 3 Kg load, which isnt a great deal, certainly, if its overloaded, the drive belt will snap, this will also ...

Small yet functional
Review of White Knight 372 by
Appliancedude
Advantages: Compact, dry's well, and is quiet, Cheap
Disadvantages: Really restrics load size, not a good option for families
White Knight have produced simple, yet reliable tumble dryers for many years.
White Knight are owned by a company called Croslee plc, Croslee also own Royal Cozyfires.
Overall Appearence
=
The look of the dryer is basic, but stylish the door has a nice curved handle and the control panel is well set out and easy to understand.
Looking at the front of the dryer from left to right you have Timer dial ranging from 0 to 120 minutes ... ...lunatic in my opinion) further along you have a guide of drying times the cottons times are estimated on a load spun at 1000rpm and the synthetics times are estimated on a load spun at 800rpm
Although I got a 3kg load spun at 1200 dry in 40 minutes, the dryer reccomends around 80-90 minutes to dry a 3kg cottons load to fully dry, so these times are not very accurate however spin performance varies from brand to brand.
The 3kg load size is great ...
