Advantages: neat front
Disadvantages: poor bearings on drum which disintegrate quickly (18 months)

well i bought this machine to match my washer,at first all seemed well. then after 18 months the drum fell off! the bearing shaft had completeley worn through due to poor design i replaced the worn shaft at the rear,all was well for 2 months then the drum fell to the floor again, after taking it apart again i found the same problem a worn shaft,have to replace total bearing and shaft assembly at rear now,waiting for parts from my electrical shop,so ...
...i only my opinion i think the manufacturer has used the cheapest and poorest quality parts for the mounting of the drum shaft basically a steel pin sat in a plastic bush,far too flimsy and wear prone,poor show hotpoint,i expect better if i were you i would stay clear!!! but of course its up to you:) ... It is five years now since we purchased our tumble dryer. The dryer is the standard size height 85cm,width 60cm etc and the colour white. How does someone begin to decide to write an opinion on a tumble dryer? ...a half to dry. Hotpoint recommend that you dry larger loads rather than several small loads as it takes less time and is therefore more energy efficient. I have found that the clothes, when dry do not require as much ironing – most items can just be folded and put away. i bought this to replace my old creda model that i had had for years..The thing that attracted me to this was not only the fact it was more efficient on the energy but it looked fresh and clean and had the added feature of reverse tumbleaction which will make the clothes less tangled..
