Just bought this model for £179.97 from Argos. On assembly it was a little tricky and the instructions were a little vague but we got there in the end. I have used it once so far and am quite happy with the results. Sure, it's going to use a lot of cleaning solution (which isn't cheap) but it seems to do the job and I am happy with it so far. Disadvantages: Not very high from the ground, won't go under furniture

I was given my Dyson Animal as a gift and was amazed from the beginning at how much hair and dirt it sucks from the carpet! However, the advertising hook of 'it never loses suction' is not quite true! It does lose suction frequently and needs replacement filters. ...an engineer came to the house the next day, stripped it down, replaced the motor, hose, pickup brush, belts, the cyclone bit (which he said had been upgraded) and all the filters before slapping a 12-month warranty sticker on it. ...about household appliances... but... the Dyson Animal sledge cleaner is a gem. It is easily stored (useful in an apartment), and simply beautifully effective. Vacuuming isn't the world's most exciting task... but when the carpet becomes visibly lighter, brighter then the task is considerably more rewarding. Having own the original style Dyson some years ago, I had an idea what to expect with the acquisition of the DC 14 when my old hoover's wheels literally came off (wasn't a Dyson by the way). We brought it through Co-op electrical and it cost £204.99 with a delivery charge of £9.99. Always a reliable piece of machinery as long as you look after it occasionally for maintenance purposes i have to unscrew the roller underneath to remove hair and an odd stray piece of carpet but all in all a good bit of kit which ive owned for 5 yrs now and is still ticking along just fine.obviously being a stand upright cleaner its not the best hoover ive ...
