*Is there anybody here called Henry?...
Review of Numatic Henry by smudgeybabes

Advantages: Brilliant old fashioned engineering.
Disadvantages: Not many.

...personal opinion on the rugged Numatic vacuum cleaner called Henry. You will recognise it as soon as you see it because it is the one with the smiley face. This model is available in four different colours, red, green, blue, and the less common yellow. The Numatic Henry is marketed as a barrel vacuum cleaner and is cylindrical, it stands upright, and floats on superb castors, it also has a rubber fender around it, so does not mark walls. It is very ...
...are Made in England by Numatic International. The cheapest I have seen these is less than £75 and many places offer then under £100, which I think is a bargain, bearing in mind that this should last you many years. I have actually seen this model advertised for a whopping £138! I am just hoping nobody has paid even close to that. These machines are a good buy second hand, and spares are available at reasonable prices. You can get spares for any ... Read review

Henry - That lovable Vaccum
Review of Numatic HVR 200 Henry by Markwilliams07

Advantages: Strong, relatively good value
Disadvantages: A bit heavy

Henry, the vacuum cleaner is a really wonderful thing. For less than £100 you can get a really reliable vacuum cleaner that leaves your floor much cleaner than before. It does however take a little more effort than the more conventional, upright machines, but the effort put in with Henry really does pay off in the clean results you'll experience. The Henry is also good because of its vast capacity to hold all of the dirt that you've collected from ...
...because although it's longer before you have to empty it, the inner bags are a pound or so more expensive for a pack of them and after a while the machine does start to smell. The smell is particularly bad if you have a dog, like a I do as the machine starts to smell of dog. I originally wrote this for www.dooyoo.co.uk ... Read review

VAX CLEANING
Review of VAX 6131 by Wjww

Advantages: CLEANS, HOVERS, AND SUCKS SPILLS
Disadvantages: NOISY, DOSN'T ALWAYS REMOVE STAINS

hello there i brought my vax 6131 last year, i just use it to clean my carpets, i will use it as my hover when the other one breaks down. It cost me £149.99. The vax cleans spills, sucks up water etc, washes carpaets, and hovers, so all in all a good all rounder. I find the machine very noisey when cleaning and sucking up spills, although overall it performs quite well, and has very got suction The only problem i have is it won't remove the tea ...
...in another room for the night. Change of senery lol. I DID NOT FIND THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL VERY USEFULL AT ALL AND FOUND SOME DESCRIPTIONS VERY HARD TO WORK OUT. Well my vax does come in handy so i would rate it usefull. hope you liked my review jo xxx ... Read review

Dyson DC20 Animal Pro
Review of Dyson DC 20 Animal PRO by mommasuec

Advantages: Compact. Simple to use. Everything to hand. Brush turbine tool.
Disadvantages: Not One found in 6 months of use.

Dyson DC20 Animal Stowaway Pro : This Vacuum cleaner is 'THE BEST' I have ever used/owned. It beats the Kirby every time, cost wise, It out performs every other vacuum I have ever tried, as a Decorator I operate many clients vac's, none come close to the Dyson for efficient dust and paper collection. The brush floor tool is absolutely brilliant, whether you have pets or not.. just get one... it cleans right to the very edge of the carpet... no more ...
...exactly like that so its unobtrusive. All the tools are attatched to the vac, in easy reach.. not shoved in a cupboard, just press a button to disconnect the cleaning head, slip on the attatchment and hey presto... nuf sed! Just get one, you wont prove me wrong! sue c ... Read review

dco2
Review of Dyson DC02 by slik2000

Advantages: loads
Disadvantages: none

I find the dyson dc02 very easy to use, it is much lighter than upright cleaners when lifting. the long cable means that I am able to get round the house in most rooms without having to unplug and replug in different rooms. The maintenance on the dyson has been very minimal as it is hard wearing to an excellent standard it has not broken down unlike cheaper models, I think it is worth paying the money for dyson as you really get value for money. ...
...you do not need to order them and they are very reasonably priced. Also being a bagless cleaner there is no mess emptying it, just unclip and empty. Overall the dyson is so easy to use not back breaking that even the kids have no excuse not to help out ... Read review
