The Vax Power Reach is a good solid machine that gives great cleaning performance with great suction that rarely gets blocked with hardly any loss of suction. It is very easy to empty, has all the attachments you would expect from an upright with a long hose that should reach all the way up the stairs. Good hoover to own. There is assembly required but doesnt take alot of time to build. The hoover is fantastic in my eye's, It has a turbo tool for stair's, car interior, sofa's. It also has an extendable attachment to make the hose longer, a long tube cylinder to attach to the hose extender, a crevise tool and a brush tool. The hoover is bagless and does make a bit of mess when getting the dust from the filter but otherwise it is easy to empty ...

The cable can be wrapped around the carry handle on the back and the cable clip at the bottom to stop the cable from getting tangled up. It also has a cable clip to use when you are hoovering. ...just how much dirt the VAX pulled out of my carpets. The suction on this machine is very powerful whether you're using the hose and attachments on the stairs or pushing it along on the carpet. One small drawback is that it is very loud but you soon get used to it. It's a bit heavy so I wouldn't suggest dragging this up more than one staircase in a cleaning session. ...can get a bit messy (but what bagless isn't!?) and it's always best to give the filter a good hard banging to get all the dirt off it which again is a bit messy. To use the attachments you have to unhook the hose from the main beater brush part of the machine and slot it into the provided attachments so the dirt goes into the dustbin, which sounds a bit weird at first but is very simple once you figure it out.
