i borrowed this vac off a friend to try, i thought it would be good, but i struggled to get it working as the brush bar kept turning its self. It had no suction what so ever when in brush off mode. Anyways we figured out that it worked very well if you kept it on the lowest carpet pile setting, although it was very hard to push. one minor set back was that it struggled to pick up flakes of paint around the skirtings(agaist its claims of even suction ...
...hose which shrank connsiderably due to the suction when the crevice tool was used. i think it would be a great vac with a floating brush bar and an air vent on the crevice tool. Anorther issue i had which may effect the safety is, that due to the positioning of the cord rewind the cord exits the machine very low making it hard to hold the cord while vaccuming to stop it being ran over by the machine. ... Other cleaners have upholstery brushes but they tend to suck so hard that whatever you're cleaning disappears into the machine - this one allows you to clean without this problem. I hired a Henry for a few weeks in July 1991 for major renovations to an old Farmhouse. He picked up everything from nails, plaster, wattle & daub, sand, rubble, brick and much, much more with ease. The Hoover HU4207T is a powerful machine, easy to handle, with built in tools, including a turbo brush which is ideal for stairs, cars, beds. Hepa filtration with no loss of suction.
