I purchased a Vax Sahara (£219.00) because its supposed to clean hard floors. I have a big kitchen and needed something easy to use to clean my hard floor. I thought the Vax Sahara was the floor cleaner for me, and boy was I wrong. The first few times were okay it cleaned my floor but only the same as a normal mop would clean it so I was not impressed. When the blade at the bottom of the Sahara was dirty I found it hard to take off and even harder ...

Disadvantages: Plastic hoses, no on-board stowage of accessories.

Other cleaners have upholstery brushes but they tend to suck so hard that whatever you're cleaning disappears into the machine - this one allows you to clean without this problem.
