Advantages: Very handy for a small house

I guess having a dyson cleaner is been on my wish list for more than a few years now. I've got a Dyson the moment I bought a house. Dyson cleaners are always recommended highly by my friends as they last for a very long time and it is worth the money you are paying for. Unlike the previous review, I have had no problems with The Boss. The retractable brush on the brush head means it glides over carpets - including a brand new thick pile carpet - and for had floors I leave the brush out, sweeping up dust too. It's so useful for cleaning in between chair legs after a meal with the children - I only use it as a supplementary cleaner however. I just bought a Dyson DC21 Motorhead yesterday. I must say I am a bit annoyed. First off, the cord is too short to do my stairs, secondly, the motorhead left marks on the carpet that look like a large cat left scratch marks everywhere, and the hose kept kinkying on me. I had to keep stopping to unkink it. It also seemed a bit cumbersome, and it was a pain to pull around. The hose looks and feels cheap to me, the plastic parts on the vaccum, look ...
...The Dyson DC21 does have good qualities I must add, such as; it looks high tech, it comes with lots of attachments, it sucks up great and its easy to put together. The vaccum, although it has some good features, still is a disappointment to me. I guess I do recommend it on the basis that it does a good job, but I am still considering on returning it. ...
