Advantages: good suction, easy to put together, lots of attachments

I just bought a Dyson DC21 Motorhead yesterday. I must say I am a bit annoyed. First off, the cord is too short to do my stairs, secondly, the motorhead left marks on the carpet that look like a large cat left scratch marks everywhere, and the hose kept kinkying on me. I had to keep stopping to unkink it. It also seemed a bit cumbersome, and it was a pain to pull around. The hose looks and feels cheap to me, the plastic parts on the vaccum, look ...
...The Dyson DC21 does have good qualities I must add, such as; it looks high tech, it comes with lots of attachments, it sucks up great and its easy to put together. The vaccum, although it has some good features, still is a disappointment to me. I guess I do recommend it on the basis that it does a good job, but I am still considering on returning it. ... One bad point: the stowage hook on the floor head, designed to 'clip' the hose assembly to the body of the cleaner when not its not in use is hopelessly weak.
