Nochex was the first ever online payment facility I signed up for. When I first started buying on the Internet I was buying horror movies, not the common or garden scary movie. But Japanese Horror (which nobody in the UK touched) and italian movies that were banned here in the UK. I was cautious at first but signed up, the process was very simple.

A year or two on, I started selling on Ebay. Nochex offered an instant pay system, for a small charge you could sign up to receive instant payments from anyone with a UK based credit or Debit card. They do not need to go through an annoying process of veryfying funds taken from a bank like paypal do. (obviously to sign up and receive money you do) This included all the ones that everybody forgets like solo and electron. In actual fact, you were pretty much getting a merchant account, try signing up for a merchant account with your bank, they may want a stool sample. This to me was fantastic, so I plugged Nochex wherever I could.

If you send money using nochex usually its free (some exceptions do arise very rarely), and to receive money they charge you 20p plus 2.6% which is favourable against Paypal's rates. When you withdraw funds if the amount is less than £50 they charge you 25p.

Here is what you do, buy something between 5am-9am using your Nochex or PPPAY account, you must use your debit/credit card to do this. You dont have to buy big, my favourite is to buy some blank DVDs or a CD or something normally to the value of two to three pounds from a seller that obviously accepts the above. And then providing your big payment comes in and you have withdrawn it, a wonderfull, wonderfull thing happens. Because i'm a bit dim on the correct terminology i'll call this effect a vacuum. And the vacuum works like this:- Because you have made a debit/credit card payment the system believes this money you have withdrawn is a refund. And rather than sending the money to your bank, it returns the money to your card (even works if your card is the same as your bank, so funds will be in your bank). This takes a maximum of two days and on many occasions I have gone online and seen the withdrawn money in my bank account within the hour.

I use Nochex on all my auctions and at present 30% of buyers use it to pay, thats why i'm here now encouraging others to use this. You will also find lots of sellers use it but dont always advertise it, so its worth asking questions.
