After being introduced to this company through glowing reports from a friend of mine, I decided to give them a whirl.

Advantages: Cheap if you do not need aftersales service Disadvantages: Paying for a 1 year contract but not being able to use it
Was unsure of network coverage in my area but was advised to buy a phone and return it if the service was no good. Returned the phone unused after 3 days. After 30 days had no money returned, when I phoned to see why I was told the phone had been used and I would not get any money.
O2 confirm the phone was not used I know the phone was not used, onestop will not provide information of how the phone was used e.g. number called time date etc.
I have ... ...I often get told some one will call me back but that never happens, staff will tell you anything to get you off the phone.
Result is - After over 2 months I have a bill for a 12 month contract of nearly £400 and no handset because they say my order has been cancelled.
My advise - DO NOT USE EVER

Advantages: Prices look cheap Disadvantages: Getting ripped off (so prices not that cheap afterall)
I can't believe these people are allowed to continue trading because it seems to me that it's little more than a scam operation. Sure, you can select a phone from quite a wide range at prices that appear to be good, and they'll deliver it fairly quickly... and then the rip-off begins.
Wanted to take advantage of the cash-back offer did you? Well you're more likely to be taken advantaged of. For example, let's look at what happens when you select ... ...one day, claim form arrives another day. Turns out that you have to wait 3 months to claim the first £70 and to do this you have to fill in section 1 of a form that you have to cut out. Don't mess up this form by the way, or lose it because replacements aren't available. Don't forget to also photocopy your mobile phone bill for month 3 and return within a completely arbitrary 45 day window, starting from exactly 3 months after they signed you up. ...

See my full review under Onestopphoneshop.co.uk (upper case O), for why buying from these guys could leave your bank account a lot lighter than when you started!!!
But in short:
- so called cash back relies on you jumping through hoops at specified times, returning forms etc. Basically they know most people won't be bothered!
- no way to specify within the purchasing process whether you want to keep an existing number
- return within 14 days ... ...but with a £10 charge if you have as much as charged the battery!
- free insurance offer, but doesn't mention anywhere that this is automatically deducted from your bank account after three months
- no option to decline so called 'free' insurance
- acessories of average condition, not particularly impressive
- After sales from these guys is next to useless ...

Advantages: Fast, Friendly service Disadvantages: Nothing!
I have been OSPS's customer for over a year now and find them brilliant. I have seen a few low star ratings on them and can only think that they have improved since then on their service.
My first phone was bought about 1.5 years ago and I recieved excellent service from them, I did at the time have a problem with my credit rating, but they ''cut a deal'' with Orange that I would pay £150 deposit and if everything was fine with my contract that ... ...which I was happy with as my credit rating was not that great only being in the country for just under a year.
Their staff are friendly, helpful, and let you know exactly what is happening with your order. I saw them advertised in the paper and have been thoroughly happy with them. A year later my contract ended so I decided to go with them yet again.
This time for the latest Nokia 6230. When I phoned they put me through to the same person that ...

Advantages: Absolutely None Disadvantages: Truly awful level of service
Lured by bottom line price, I bought a NEC616 off OneStopPhoneShop on Three, received the item fine (even though it was 4 day delivery instead of next day as promised) and was very happy with both the network and the handset, but after a week a major fault developed on the phone. I then called One Stop CS and informed them of the phone problem, and to return the phone to them for an immediate replacement. I was told I needed to courier the phone ... ...my calls on this my main phone through was more important than money, and I was assured I would have a replacement couriered back to me as soon as they received the faulty handset.
A full seven days later after couriering the handset to them and repeated multi daily calls to One Stop I was still without a handset. Absolutely incompetent CS at One Stop told me the odd time they do not cut me off that "I'll probably have my new handset on Friday" ...
