Taylor Price & Co were founded in 1974 and were pioneers in the field of direct insurance sales, being one of the first direct insurance providers in the country.
From the start, they have invested heavily in staff training and technology. They use one of the best computerised insurance administration systems in the country (from Cheshire DataSystems Ltd) and this is backed up with a sophisticated call centre system from Mitel to ensure all enquiries are promptly handled, together with an advanced voice recording system from Eyretel, which has largely allowed them to dispense with documentation, speeding up and simplifying the process of buying insurance.
They say that they pride themselves on the care they take of their customers. They ensure that all quotations are fully explained at the time they are given, and only use insurers with a first class reputation for claim handling.
Why Direct Choice?
After all, they ask a lot of questions! Yes, they do. Some people don't - they ask a few questions and then, if you don't fit, they don't bother. Direct Choice care about their customers and want to ensure that you get the right policy.
But I've never heard of them! Don't worry. They have been trading for more than 25 years, and more than a million people have gone to them for their insurance. They are one of the most efficient insurance providers in the industry and grow larger every day.

I have been insured with them for years - only once did I find a cheaper quote elsewhere, and when it came down to it the service I received from the new company was not as good. For example, they charged me to change my vehicle even though the car I bought was a lower group than it's predecessor! I went back to Direct Choice the next year and have been there ever since.
