more...Prisa 640 BT and the 640 BU (both with an optical resolution of 600x1200 dpi) constitute valuable links between physical images or texts and the Internet. The handy Scan and Send mode allows you to convert images and documents into digital files in no time and to post them on the Internet, thus saving you considerable time and effort. In short: child's play to operate! The 'copy' and 'fax' buttons on the new Acer button-scanners allow for quicker and easier faxing and copying. A fax modem needs to be installed, however. Both have a USB interface whereas the BT model also has a transparency unit (TPO) that allows you to scan both positives (slides) and negatives. Scans with a 48-bit color depth are also available. The 640 BT and 640 BU are delivered with Mirascan Driver, Adobe ActiveShare, Ulead PhotoExpress 3.0, ABBYY FineReader and Presto! PageManager.
