Paltalk is absolutely great. If you havent tried it I definately recommend you to give it a try.
You will need a mike if you want to take part and do some talking. There is nothing to stop you just going into a room though and typing what you wish to say instead of talking.
Paltalk can be downloaded in just a couple of minutes. You then choose a name by which you want to be known. When you feel like it choose a room you want to enter. Now these rooms can be anything like all chat rooms on the internet. They can be language, hobbies and interests, countrymen or just different countries.
You just enter the room. To be perfectly good mannered when you enter the room you will see on the right hand side a mike. That is the "leader" and then you will see a hand. You click on the hand if you wish to speak and your name will go to the top when its your turn to talk. It is so simple. Of course if there are a lot in the room then you may type what you wish to say just like you do in other chat rooms.
The good thing about Paltalk is that you can hear the voice of that person you have been emailing for ages. You can even get a private room.
It is ideal if you are slow at typing too.
I have yet to find someone rude or impolite on Paltalk.
This is a great way to talk to others on the internet for the price of the internet bill and even better if it is family from away either up country or abroad.
I thoroughly believe you should have a go and try it. You wont regret it.
