Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: Non-existant customer service
Fantastic value for money, but the customer service couldn't be any worse. The hard drive on my PC packed up, and it took them over 6 weeks to send a replacement. 6 weeks! I called them up 5 or 6 times, and spoke to the same lad all but once. He was rude every single time. It's not difficult to be polite when speaking to someone on the phone. Learn some manners you little squirt. I emailed them 6 or 7 times, and only received 2 replies. It's frustrating ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Mr T Muir - his attitude is diabolical.
Having read numerous bad posts and having dealt with them myself and wishing to all deities that I hadn't I ask Mr Muir to explain why he thinks it appropriate to respond to polite and legitimate emails with profanity? Mr Editor this can be evidenced in case you want to see it.
My story is shocking - spent a small fortune on a state of the art pc (well supposed to be) never worked from the minute I got it, despite going back twice and Mr Muir begging ... ...a PC that I cannot get to work. In fairness after the last return a few months back personal circumstances overtook me (twin children born), however the adaptor that was in the box when I returned it was not when I cut through the tape on the box last week. Mr Muir's WRITTEN response - "We don’t have any spares in stock. I’m surprised after all the s**t you gave us that you haven’t used the system for nearly 6 months", he then goes on to accuse me ...

Now am getting charged for sending it back so they can provide me with a working PC - rediculous.
I would definatley pay an extra £100 and avoid these guys at all costs.

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Appalling Customer Service
Whilst researching PC option I came across this site where there seemed to be many genuine reviews praising PC Option.
I made the mistake of ordering a media pc from them on 17th October. Website looks great and the prices are competitive, but just wait until you try and get any customer service.
On 23rd October the status of my order changed to 'Systems Being Built' and I looked forward with eager anticipation to it's imminent delivery. On 27th ... ...quoted) I e-mailed them and got the response that they would find out the delivery date for me. Having received no further information I e-mailed them the following day and was told that my order would arrive on 1st November (Saturday!). This customer service was pretty much typical of my experience all the way through. It always took at least two e-mails to get any information. The first was either totally ignored, or you got a response saying they ...
