PC World is a large chain, that means that, like McDonald's, you can get pretty well the same service whereve you go. Like McDonald's, you can get better stuff for less money if you're prepared to, but at 8am and you're ... ...site is fairly ugly, slow and clunky to use. The most useful feature is probably the product comparison. I haven't done online ordering.
PC World's computers are fairly expensive for what you get. Also, they're more marketing-led than customer-benefit led...
For example, a lot of people going to PCW will pay an extra £200 for nearly the latest fast processor and walk out with a crummy monitor and only 64MB of memory, when if they were doing the ...

That’s what the site says, and really and honestly I would say this is a fair assumption, everything about this site is really good. Advantages: speed of delivery, service with a smile, helpful, safe and secure, soemtimes some great deals Disadvantages: none
I have only shopped online now for two items from pc world so far.
One was my speakers for my pc and the other was a printer.
When I looked around for some speakers these were one of the cheapest I could find. However they cost me the same price in the shop and there is no delivery charge. So it cost me £1.50p more, which isn't breaking the bank or nothing. They charge this for however much you order. So it doesn't matter if you order one item ... ...pc world were offering this cheaper than any other companies I checked were Argos, Buy.com, scan.com so I decided to order it from them. I ordered a Lexmark Z13 and it only cost me £24.99p which is really cheap for a good make of printer I do believe. However I have noticed printers have come down in price over the last year or so anyway.
I also checked which courier company they use and thank god it wasn't city link, as per previous opinion written ...

A return visit to the shop was made and they were informed that because it was a laptop, it would have to be sent away for repair and if they left it at the shop it could take several weeks before it was returned. The other option was ...
